 Biography
Miyavi began playing the guitar when he was fourteen, and played soccer throughout high school, and still plays as a hobby. At age 18 in 1999, he signed as a guitarist for indie rock band called Due le Quartz, making him the youngest member and leaving no time for college. Due le Quartz was a *success* until they disbanded in September 2002, not long after Miyabi had his 22nd birthday. Miyabi then changed his name to Miyavi and began releasing singles as a solo artist under the label Phalanx of Swashbucklers Company or PSC. However, many Due le Quartz fans did not agree with Miyavi going solo but, with his new music came new fans. Later, Miyavi announced that he would be starring in a movie, Oresama, which was released in February 2004. He has now released many singles and albums since. Miyavi continues to amaze his fans over and over again.

i started getting into miyavi when i heard jibun kakumei. that song rocks! i think all his songs are pretty good. keke. . . i also like his mad guitar skills, hes so good at guitar that it makes me want to learn it.

Miyavi is an incredible singer. My favorite song by him is Ittoshi Hito and Kimi Ni Negai Wo. They are both on MYV*Pops.
