Original thread by tomoyo_daidouji.
I was just wondering if ever we would or we could study in a school just like Hogwarts, what subject would I or you or we would excel at...? I mean it's just like muggle-school (lol) biggrin
There's Charms, Potions (something similar to Chemistry i guess), Defense Against the Dark Arts, Astronomy, Divination, Transfiguration, Care of Magical Creatures, Herbology, and the most popular of them all - Quidditch and others. So what would it be? Do you think you'll excel in subjects similar to muggle-subjects?

I'd like Charms or Transfiguration. Both are complicated but Charms is something that can charm just about anything. But I'd love to turn my enemies into bullfrogs or myself into something beautiful.

Humm . . I'd say Charms, Transfiguration, or Potions. None of them have outside forces that could screw me up like care of magic creatures, DADA, etc.
They all have set directions, so I know I would be able to do them. Things like Divination are to random. I wouldn;t be able to handle it.
Call me a control freak, but i like to know what's going to happen. I dispise surprises.

I think that Potions would be easy, unless of course Snape hated me, because it just sounds like following directions, and I'm good at Chemistry. I would also like Defense Against the Dark Arts and Quidditch, because I am very competitive and I play alot of sports.

I don't even have to think about this one. I'd excel at care of magical creatures. I just lurve animals, but I can see myself becoming almost Hagrid-ish. Conventional pets are ok but the unconventional are more fun. As it is my pride and joy is a leopard gekco named Norbert (hmm... where could I have gotten the name) and believe me if there were dragons around to be had I'd have one faster then you could say "quidditch".

It'd be either transfiguration, divination or astronomy... then again, I guess DADA could be an option too. I mean consider that equivelant to a self-defense class and I'd rule it. I've been in self-defense for nine years. I've always been interested in astronomy, and I can already read tarot cards and am getting into runes right now. And transfiguration would just be fun.
I wonder what class would be equivelant to art...

I think that I would be good at Potions, Defense Against the Dark Arts, and maybe Care of Magical Creatures. I absolutely love Chemistry, doing hands-on things, and animals.

Hmm. Charms and Astronomy, I think. Possibly Divination. They all sound so interesting.

I think I'd do well at Charms, DADA, Transfiguration and potions, which are the classes I think would interest me most. If a class doesn't capture my interest I usually don't do well *drip*
heart heart And I'd try out for the Quidditch team in a heart beat! I'd probably go for the position of Chaser too, come to think of it.

I would excel most at Potions, Care of Magical Creatures, and Divination. heart
I love mixing things and making concauctions... always have. Also, I do make potions for religious purposes. 3nodding Needless to say, I'm quite skilled.
I've always loved animals, mythical and real-life esque. I love working with them, as well. So there's that.
And.. I have esp and paranormal abilities, so divination would be fun. I am what you might call a "seer", or someone with "the sight".

Well hmmm I'm ok with Art and English. So I guess I would do good with Wizards Literature. I'm sure they would have some magical art class, they would have to! Where they make make the paint brushes paint for you and having moving paintings around. wink that would be fun.

I think I'd do well in Divination(or at least I hope) and Defence Against the Dark Arts. And I'd also want to be in a band class. I always wondered if they had one.

I think I'd excell at Charms, Transfiguration, or Defense Against the Dark Arts. I don't think I'd be very good at Divination or Astronomy .. or Potions for that matter. I don't think I have the attention span needed for Care of Magical Creatures, and I wouldn't want to do something boring like Ancient Runes or Muggle Studies. (No offense to those who like it, though.)
DADA would be useful just in everyday life or in case you'd have to become involved in the war or something. Transfiguration would be so much fun.. turning something into whatever you want it to be.
I think Charms would be my favorite class, though, I think. Learning how to levitate things or make bubbles or small yellow birds out of thin air. Lol..
Charms .. best class ever.
