Welcome to the park. Perhaps this was a planed stop to have your child relsease some energy, or maybe you are just hopping for some quiet. Here is why you may or may not get this. Settings will be explained below and this is just like a first post to let everyone know the exact settings so I don't have to carefully explain it all and we have refrence to go back. If soething cool is added that we want to keep, it may be added into this quote. I think we all know the rules which to follow by, so enjoy the park.Settings The simple park was made out of the ways a bit, near a small forest of trees for older kids to hide and play in. trees that will be fun for climbing and suck. It was built for hot summer days as there is a wadding pool, (which is empty in the winter) and a nice play ground to play on. There are slides, and swings and monkey bars and several other items that one finds alot in the playgrounds but somehow has found a way to lack a name. The park is call Gaian Wadding, after their wadding pool. Enjoy your stay.

A small, chaotic group arrived at the park around noon. The little boy, with his blond hair and easy grin had a fairy perched on his shoulder and an Indiana Jones hat atop his head. Thank the gods he hadn't been allowed to bring his toy whip with him. He broke away immediately, making a beeline for the jungle gym without even a look back. This left his mother, a small red-head pushing a pram, alone with the baby. And the baby's erstwhile companion, a miniscule fox with a massive jealousy issue.
Fae arrived at a bench and removed from the pram (careful not to let herself get bitten in the process) a large, soft green blanket. Spreading it over the grass, she removed first her daughter Sorcha who peered around at the world with wide, curious green eyes, and then the tiny fox who was called Tuck. Shockingly, he allowed this without attacking her for which Fae gave a great sigh of relief. From the diaper bag, she took out a book and sat on the bench, opening it. Content to let her son swing on the monkey bars while her daughter lay on the ground and cooed carefully guarded by Tuck, Fae opened her book and began reading.

Flame let out a long sigh as she walked to the park. She was so glad to get out of the house, with Merric. He insited on bringing that egg along and now he barely wanted to hold it. She warned him that an egg wouldn't be any fun, and now Flame would be holding it while Merric went off to cause mischif. She just told herself to be more stern next time, there was no help for this time.
"Alright Merric, we're here" Flame anounced and saw the park was accupied by one other group, there was a rambucious little boy that was swinging on the jungle gym and another baby. Flame aproched the woman, "Hey" she said friendly, "Mind if I camp out near you?" she asked, 'Let Merric meet your daughter?"

Fae glanced up and then smiled, closing her book (which had turned out to be boring and dry anyhow) and scooting over. "Sure," regarding the woman and her baby for a moment, Fae's smile turned into a grin. "Hey... you didn't get him from a bank, did you?" Of course, the woman probably hadn't but some perversity of humor prompted her to ask anyways. "I'm Fae, by the way." Faewynd extended a hand. "And this is Sorcha. Mind the fox, he bites."
From her place on the blanket, Sorcha looked up up uuuup at the new figure that had joined them. The voice was unfamiliar and the infant was overwhelmed with curiosity. She waited about ten seconds, which seemed like an eternity to her, and thet let out an imperious "Beh!" which translated into: "Hey you! You're too tall!"

Flame smiled and with the ease of a new mother she flapped out a blanket and set Merric on it. She rolled her shoulders back, glad to get the weight from her arms, even if she didn't mind Merric cuddling close to her. Flame smiled as she sat down and glanced t the other mother.
"I'm Flame, and this is Merric" she itnroduced, "Ahhh, I got an egg named Thatc" Flame added, pulling that out. "Merric wouldnt leave home without it and don't worry about the fox. merric bites too" Flame joked with a small laugh as she streatched out her legs and turned a watching eye onto her son.
Merric's single bright eye stared at the girl and then his eyes moved to the fo. Aparently he found this much fmore intresting for he crawled over and grabbed it, calling out his favorite word. "Mine!"

Fae smiled at the other woman but her reply was distracted by the chaos that ensued on the blankets below.
At Merric's cry of "Mine!" the little fox appeared to take offense, letting out a yowl and turning into a fury of gnashing teeth and slashing claws. The small red-headed infant seemed to find this all immensly entertaining, she sat on the blanket and giggled irrepressibly before reaching out to grab the fox by the tail and drag him away. "Tu, no!" She said in garbled baby. Grinning at Merric, Sorcha seemed to believe she had made a friend of some sort.

Flame sighed and reached over to pull Merric back slightly, just enough so he wasn't playing tug and war with the mini, and biting, fox. She gave a small sigh as she set him down a bit away, "Merric not everything you want is yours" she said softly, "That fox is Sorcha's, not yours."
Merric started to screw up his face and started to cry, loudly but with little tears. merric rarely really cried, just made the expression and noise. Sometimes it worked with Flame and sometimes it did. It always worked with the man that was in the house. "Nuuuuu, mine, mine, mine" he chanted, twisting, reaching for the fox.
Flame sighed, embaressed at how he was acting. She knew one surefire way to make him calm down without spoiling him. Or at least she hoped she wasn't spoiling him. She dug into her pocket and pulled out the gold coin she used to bring her Merric to life. She moved it infront of his face and instently he quieted.
Merric calmed when he saw his coin. he snatched it from his mother's hand and stroked it, holding it near to him and then out to Sorcha, not because he was giving it or sharing it, he wanted her to see it. "Mine" he repeated, this time with the confidence that it wouldn't be taken away, because it wouldn't.
Flame sighed and turned to Fae, "Sorry about that Merric wants what he wants now" she took a deep breath and sighed, "It's a handful to keep up with but so long I keep that coin with me to distract him when he freaks out, I'm normally fine" she admited.

Sorcha clutched Tuck and leaned forward to see the shiny, her green eyes getting big. "oooh..." her baby voice murmurred as a chubby little hand reached out as if to touch. Something lit in her eyes... she wanted the shiny, that was for sure. But she was too well behaved to take it.
Fae chuckled. "I wonder what would happen if you tried giving him those chocolate coins, the ones with the gold foil wrappers?" She seemed amused by the prospect.

Merric looked over at Sorcha suspioucly, he twisted away so she couldn't see the coin. "Mine" he said firmly. Then he said a word Flame never heard him use before. He pointed to Tuck and said, "Yours" As if trying to get the girl to be distracted her own toy. The coin was his!
Flame thought about it and laughed, "Ohhh, that would be intresting" she admited, "I'll have to try it sometime" The neko glanced at her son and raised an eyebrow. Okay, so he wasn't sharing but at least he wasn't picking a fight. She would tell him to share if a fuss was made over the coin but otherwise she didn't want to give Merric another excuse to start crying.

Sorcha giggled and patted Tuck unceremoniously on the head. The little fox glowered, by tolerated the treatment. He didn't particularly appreciate anyone other than himself, except his mistress, of course. He liked her. Getting on hands and knees, Sorcha crawled her way over to Merric and plopped herself down next to him. "Yours" She babbled, seemingly content to stare at the shiny over his shoulder.

Merric seemed fine with her admiring from over his shoulder, just so long he was holding it. He even moved it slightly over to the side so she could see it better. "Shinny, mine" merric said proudly, lifting his chin. Then he pointed to the egg near egg. "Mine. Thatch. Yours" Merric then pointed to Tuck, as if he was asking what he was called.
