I am a 18 year old seme who likes the ukes biggrin biggrin (especially younger ones) but am kinda overweight (6'8"and 290 pounds--not as bad as it sounds cuz im so tall) (also going on a diet). Other than that, I look about average. However, i'm very intelligent, protective, strong, nurturing, and a good listener (and I love to snuggle). Question- are my personality traits able to make up for my love handles? And if you are in the market for a seme or just a nurturing friend pm me anytime!!!!!

Appearance isn't terribly important to me, but it is considered.
One of the biggest things I look for physically in a seme is height.
My seme must be taller than me, and I'm 6'0".
So you'd fit the bill wink
And if you're worries about the love handles, then get rid of 'em.
Work at it and stay dedicated and determined.
You'll usually never have the advantage with extra weight.
Oh, and I voted "as long as he's not particularly ugly, its fine."

yeah pretty much what P1 said. For me I like the slim type but that's just me and they have to be the same or taller (makes it so much easier to kiss ^^) but that's easy for me since I'm short (bout 155cm, dont know what that is in feet and inches sry).
But it sounds like you have the perfect personality so yeah that's great. The protectiveness, but not obsession over is a very important thing for me cause I also like my independance. What's more since you're taking action to change what you dont like about yourself rather than just complaining and doing nothing that's also a bonus ^^
Thus I wouldn't worry too much. Besides relationships based just on looks tend to be rather shallow and I've never dated a drop dead gorgeous guy yet ^^

Well, you're prolly slimmer than my ex lol But you sound like a very cool person ^^
I do admit physical attraction is somewhat important. I mean, if you're repulsed by a person's physical appearance, you might not want to be more than just friends. But then again, nothing is ever written in stone (well at least not nowadays since we have paper, pencils, erasers and most importantly, puters! lol)
I mean, I thought my ex was cute but I didn't he was the most gorgeous guy in the world. Cause that's Tatsuya >> (bassist from Japanese band she likes)

Other than looks I tend to go for guys who act more masculine than feminine.
After all, I like men who act like men; not men who act like women.
I also prefer guys a few years older than me (they need some experience), as well as a few inches taller than me.
Personality-wise, I look for mature guys who can handle my immaturity.
I'm childish.
Learn to deal.
Also, they have to have a nice sense of humor and be nice to me and others.

Every uke's different. Like Keshi, I prefer slimmer guys, but I'm not picky on looks. And like PIXY, I prefer masculine guys.

sounds like you would be my type of guy, you have a good chance at finding somebody ^^ what gender you be looking for? female or male? if female and thier anything like me then yes you will be able to hook them, for male.. i wouldent know XD but i suspect same as applies, if they are like me then yes they would.

What i look for... appearacnes? Well, I've always been immediately attracted to asians, extreme height (be it a foot taller than me, or small enough to look like an elementary student. towering or cuddleable. ^^), long hair... Usually the yes. Doesnt matter colour, but there are just SOME peoples eyes that pull me.
But that's just the looks that get the immediate "ooooh...*drools*" reaction.
People I'm actually attracted to... The appearances have varied. From someone who by looks and speech impediment seemed mentally ill, to a guy my height with an acne-face who was dark and nowhere near remarkable military-ishness, to my towering pale uber-skinny computer geek. On top of that, theres been the philipino otaku girl, hispanic weather nerd guy, aaaaand... a few black guys of various heights and such. ^^U One of whom was canadian.
Sooo... looks important? Not in a relationship. To get me ticking? Sure, but I don't let it affect me. I just care how they TREAT me. How they treat themselves. And WHO they are.

Nurturing.. o-o; I'm not exactly sure what that means.. and I'm too lazy to look up an exact definition right now. Somehow it scares me. xD Not in the "Ahh!! Wth?! O_O" way, more like the "o_o.. --Edges away--" thing. >>;;
But everything else sounds great. ^^
You're about a foot and a half taller than me.. <_< Though I like taller guys, its funny to imagine the trouble people of those two heights would go for a kiss. xd
So you're not so bad since it's nice that you're not hideous. As long as you don't scare small children away with your passing by, it's fine. Though throughout my life I've only liked guys at first sight. They somehow appeal to me in one way or another. Except for my ex.. Uh, as for a guy's personality. I need honesty, loyalty, and kindness. A little common sense would be a great and confidence in himself.. as long as he's not uber egotistic. I'm actually very picky. ^_^; But yeah.. there has to be that small spark. Maybe to even notice anyone in a romantic sense.

Hrm, what in a seme. Well, I like them older, definately. I like them to be taller than me but that's kind of hard seeing as I'm 6'1'' sweatdrop . I like them to have some meat on their bones [preferably toned, not flab]. I'd like them to be protective but not to the point where I can't go out alone, but it's nice to know they might have been a bit jealous. Other than that, someone I can relate to, and someone who isn't too girly but isn't too manly to show some emotion. 3nodding
