This is a little something I've been thinking about for a while.
You know how everything is 'scientifically proven'? Like for example, you can scientifically that a box is black. You can say all this stuff like how the pigments gather and light reflects or is absorbed, and that makes the color. Voila. Scientifically proven.
Science also says that girls mature faster than boys (I actually think it depends on the person). They think it's 'true' because they think they 'scientifcally proved' it. When it's scientifically proven, it's true. But you know what? Science isn't right all the time. Long (true) story short: A Christian scientist's dog died, and he buried it by a river. 2 weeks later, he told his fellow scientists that he found a skeleton by the river. They scanned it with whatever the scan bones with to determine it's age, and they said, "It must be millions of years old!" But the Christian scientist said, "No. That's my dog. I buried him two weeks ago."
Here's another one. Does anyone know about the 'pig's tooth'? If you haven't heard of it, I'll tell you now. A scientist found a tooth, and it looked a lot like a human's. He thought it was the missing link. When he was showing it to everyone, a farmer said, "Hey, my pig has a tooth just like that!" Wasn't scienced created by humans for us to understand things easier? Aren't humans wrong and mess up? If humans can mess up, so can the things we create.
(God could've stopped us from messing up. But he didn't. So willingly, he can prevent things from going wrong. But we can't, so matter how hard we try, something just always might go wrong.)
More trivia Can science prove that heaven and hell exists? Nope. So people don't think it's true. Well, heaven and hell DO exist. You can't 'scientifically prove' it, because there is no science to it. It's all spiritual.
And it doesn't stop there. Science wants to stick its butt in everything. They say that people are gay because they're born that way. Wrong. There is no science to how people think and feel. It's all EMOTION. Not brain chemicals. No physics, no science. Forget what you know. Because people weren't born gay, they can change.
People also can not scientifically prove that Jesus rose from the grave. Because he's GOD. God is a supernatural being. There is no science to limit him or make up what he is. To prove that he exists takes faith. And there is also no science to simply believing can show things, so that's why people don't trust in it.
Anyone else have something to say or ask? I'll be looking foward to responses.

Disagree. Especially with your theory on emotions and thoughts:Quote: There is no science to how people think and feel. It's all EMOTION. Not brain chemicals. No physics, no science. Forget what you know. Everything you feel is based on chemical reactions in your brain. Feeling happy? Endorphins. Pumped up? Adrenaline. In love? Andrenaline. Everything that happens within your body is the result of a chemical reaction. Science gave you that. Now I wonder who created science... God? The laws and processes of science are too complex to have been invented by man. Although we do interpret things using science and logic, it's not something we just made up out of nowhere.
We believe in God because we have faith. Science doesn't prove Him, but it doesn't disprove Him, either. Anything about this world that has a scientific explanation, you can take on proof. Why? Because there is a logical reasoning behind it. You can follow point A to point B and be shown everything in between; how and why it happens are presented for the eyes to see. However, everything spiritual you believe, which is totally illogical, you have to take on faith. Quote: People also can not scientifically prove that Jesus rose from the grave. Because he's GOD. God is a supernatural being. Those two ideas are completely unrelated. Science cannot prove He rose, but it doesn't say He didn't. Besides, this isn't the realm of science, it's the realm of history, and there are many historical accounts that claim that He did rise. I don't know of any that say He didn't. Being God had no bearing on it. If you believe what the Bible says, which I hope you do, you don't have to be anyone special to be ressurected. *notes the story of Lazarus*

It's true, you don't have to be special to be ressurected, but my point is, it seems impossible that you can bring your OWN self to life when you're DEAD, but it's not impossible with God, but science can't prove that so unbelievers think that it isn't true.

Ok i agree with alot of what your saying and i agree with Starflyer 71 to.
Some people say the bible isn't real because they haven't have any prof but who's not the say that history isn't real i mean alot of people "think" its real but it's all just recoreded history same with the bible so there is no difference between the bible and a text book

Science is our way of trying to figure out what we do not know. people fear what they do not know (exsample fear of death) so therefore peole try to find out as much as they can to relieve this fear. One thing i think is really funny is why they think the earths core is thousands of hundreds of degress hot. they say it's because the slow turning motion with about however many thousand puonds of presure make it exsteamly hot. hmmm never been tested. however they just are kinda just guessing ( they seem to do that alot)but they put it in schools any ways. i could go on and on to. (sorry this science stuff really gets to me. xp ) DEATH TO SCIENCE!!!! bring on the rapture and try to exsplain that one. sorry, i'm ok...... i just hate how they teach it to us from a young age as the "right" way. xp

this is one of those common christian questions we're always trying to figure out. I keep thinking that science isn't real, but it's just something God created to test us in our faith. or it's physically real, made by God, but spiritually, it doesn't matter. But will we every really know until we get to heaven, and even then, will God tell us.
But those are all good points. They say they can prove something and say the bible isn't real, when actually, they have found written records of the bible stashed in caves. So which is true? or are they both true? or is science just some made up thing, put together, like a puzzle, or made to be a game to help us figure out the world?

The important thing to mrealize is science is a way of trying to figure out why things work, and sometimes the out come of a theory maybe be false in reality, or actually true, my point is don't knock science, it's a good way to learn.
