I just feel some need to explain my current investments... comment or whatever how you want to.


I was playing the market to gain my gold, as usual. Buying things when they're sorta cheap, then selling them for what I think I can get. I had earned enough money so that I had around 110k, and still a few items to sell which I invested in earlier. Things were good, I could see the ninja head band becoming a reasonable goal, since I turned 30k into 110k within a couple of days.

Then I decided I'd step into the Coon Tail business. I bought out all the people selling Coon Tails for 3500g or less. In most cases they were around 3000g, which was good. I had tampered with the Coon Tails of the market enough so that the lowest buy price Coon Tail was 3900g (my ideal selling price) instead of 3000g. People weren't buying Coon Tails as fast as I was getting them... That and I had more than I could handle for one shop. So I bought a vending license for my alts/mules, Zantetsken and xRanma_Saotomex, so they could sell some of my stuff so I'm not waiting with just 4 items. I eventually got my sister and her alt/mule to sell items for me, as well as adding another shop for myself on another alt.
I had also invested a lot into Winter Fox Minks. Their standard buy price seemed to be 7.5k-8k, so I bought all those out and tried to bring the lowest buy price to 8.4k. I did the same with Chain of Commands. The Chains of Command all sold, but lots of my Winter Fox Minks didn't... and they're waiting to be sold, along with my Coon Tails.

People were still putting out new Coon Tails and Winter Fox Minks, and of course people will buy theirs since they are cheaper than mine. So if I want mine to sell, I must buy them out. But then I run out of money, and am left with items which aren't selling. Now I think I own around 10 Winter Fox Minks and 13 Coon Tails.

I'm just hoping these things will sell, because if they all sell and I make some profit on all of them, I should have quite a bit of gold, getting me closer to a ninja head band. I have some other random investments, but most of those ones are going pretty OK. I have so many Winter Fox Minks and Coon Tails, which aren't selling, and I'm feeling that I made some investments which were too dangerous... I can either wait things out and hope to make some profit, or I can sell them for around the prices I bought them, and make little to no profit.

I'd just check out how things are goin...if they continue to head down to the price you bought em for, then drop your price but not so much as you don't gain...there would be no point in it if you don't gain gold, but at the same time you don't want to lose too much if it does get outta control. Noone can really advise you here and I'm sure you've done this alot more than anyone else but I'd just be makin sure I don't lose gold at that point.

I'm trying to sell gunner coats. It's pretty easy with all those idiotic Vash cosplayers. No offence to the customers. xd

Yeah, if you think about it, that's a pretty smart sales plan. I've seena couple Vash cosplayers around Gaia, so you're in luck as long as they don't have the money themselves. xD;;

I was thinking about trying my luck with bunny tails. Is that a good idea?

I have officially sold all my Coon Tails and Fox Minks and have made pretty good profit! I also won some good bids yesterday (Chyaku Norisu scarf at 22k, Ancient Katana at 12.3k, G Blade at 7k), so I'll be profitting well from those. Already sold the G Blade at 9.7k, my Chyaku Norisu scarf will sell after the person before me, and I have 3 katanas ready to sell at 13.7k... the katanas seem to be jumping prices, ranging from 12k-14k, hopefully I can get mine sold when it bounces back closer to 14k.

Looks like these weren't bad investments after all! I've calculated that once all my current stuff sells, I'll have 503,831 gold! Ninja headband, here I come! biggrin

Ah, I love investing... I'd be nowhere if I had to actually create the gold by polling and bumping and stuff. I have 342,151 gold, that ninja headband is closer to me than ever! All my items are on the market with all my accounts and my sister's, and as soon as it all sells, I'll be good to go! biggrin

Whoa, forgot I'm still wearing this Chain of Command... I was gonna sell it, but didn't have room in my store, so decided I'd wear it for a bit. Guess I'll just keep it since I'll have so much money when my things sell cool
