「ガゼット」- The GazettE (Gazette, Gazetto)
Biography
Ruki (Vocals), Uruha (Guitar) and Reita (Bass) came from the bands Kar+te=zyAnose and earlier Ma’die Kusse. Together with Aoi (Guitar) and Yune (Drums) from the band Artia in January 2002 they formed Gazette.
Their first live was at the 2nd july 2002 and their label was Matina. In april 2002 they publiced their first Maxi Single Wakaremichi and VHS.
In October the Maxi Single kichiku kyoushi -dokushin 32-sai dokushin- no nousatsu kouza and one more else VHS came our. For their ascent their first One-Man concert was responsible.
At the beginning of 2003 Yune left the band, but he was relatively fast (on the 1st february) replaced by Kai (ex-Mareydi†Creia'). One month later Gazette signed the contract with PS-Company.
A short time later they went on tour with Hanamuke and publiced a 2-Song single.
Their popularity grew up and Gazette went together with Vidoll on tour. After that together they were at the cover of the musik magazine Cure.
At the beginnin of december together with deadman they gave a Two-man live concert and on the 28th december Gazette participated together with Kra, Merry, MUCC, Déspairs Ray, DAIGO☆STARDUST, Gullet, deadman, Miyavi, Pink Halleluja and lab. at the Beauti-fool's Fest 03 (Event of the FOOL'S MATE magazine).
On the 16th january 2004 they gave a One-Man in Shibuya, and a DVD (Judgment Day) came out. At the same day their official fanclub was opened. On 30 march their Minialbum ~MADARA~ came out and reached the second rang of the Oricon indie Charts.
On the 23rd april their second concert was filmed, and a DVD (Heisei Banka) appeared at the 25th august.
In may their first PV-DVD MADARA came out, which contains all PV's and making of's of the Mini-Album MADARA.
At the end of september and the beginning of october Gazette went together with Kra and bis on tour. On the 13rd october their first full album DISORDER was publiced and reached the fifth rang of the Oricon Daily Charts!
On the 9th March 2005 they publiced 3 new singles (Lesson G,O,D). Every single contains the songs 'Reila' and 'Shyunsetsu no koro'. On Lesson G and O there is one more song, and Lesson D contains also the PV+making of of Reila.
Reila reached the 7th rang of the Oricon Charts. From 16th march until 16th april they went on tour ('Maximum Royal Disorder' Standing Tour 2005) and they were printed on the cover of the Shoxx, Shoxx bis (Ruki Special), Cure and Arena37°C (music magazines).
On the 7th july their third live DVD "Maximum Royal Disorder" came out.
In august a new Mini-Album named "gama" came out, which contains 5 songs.
In october they publiced a photo book [Verwelktes Gedicht] with 80pages. There is a CD with the limited one (5000copies).
Then they went on a Tour "Psychedelic Dirty" and in december the first major single Cassis was released.
Gazette was printed on the cover of the Neo Genesis Spring edition and in february their second full Album "NIL" was released. In February they will start their new Japan Tour "Nameless Liberty.Six Guns···" It will end on the 7th may.
The GazettE's new single "REGRET" will come out at Wednesday October 25, 2006. Their other new single "Filth in the Beauty" will come out Wednesday November 1, 2006. And The GazettE's "DECOMPOSITION IN BEAUTY Tour" will begin at November 28, 2006 and it will end at December 24, 2006
