I have little to no oppertunity to read about the satanic rituals and such that (I believe) comprive Greater Magic. Parents and their deal. So, Im wondering... are these rituals necessasry to live life as a satanist, or is it only required to adopt, believe and act on the philosophy? What kind of rituals are there?

I'd say rituals are not necessary for the whole of Satanism. I'm in a bit of the same boat as you, LOL. Just do what you can. Meditate, look things up on the net, delete your history, you get the idea. But just as long as you have the satanic outlook on life, I'd say that's all you really need, at least for right now. When things change, you can go further in your study of rituals. Think of it as a goal to hold yourself to. 3nodding

Rituals are not needed to be a satanist, but they sure make things fun, and well of course enlightening. As dark seeker sugested, meditation is a great idea for any aspiring mage.
