Lamyae lay sprawled out sun bathing like a large cat, she was not bored, not today anyways. It was just well, a slow one. The voice was quiet and that meant she had another day off from recruiting people into her pack. She wanted desperatly to explain herself to another creature, someone willing to learn of her values and as well learn of her reasoning behind them.

She could not remember a family, and assumed she just appeared on the earth, like the great goddess had given birth to her and left her for dead. "If I am your daughter then you chose the right martyr, but maybe not the right kin?" She whispered to herself. She found herself weak after meeting Mafa and other more savage hyenas, were there not more hyenas among this earth that wanted peace?

Ifu'hamiji was walking slowly, observing his surroundings with a keen eye. There was always some new facinating bug to see, or a new type of plant to examine. His quest for knowledge would never be done, it seemed, but he didn't want it to end anyway. A world without anything new to learn was a dead world to Ifu.

The light-grey hyena spotted another of his kind in the distance. How intriguing! Perhaps she knew something about this landscape that he didn't know.

"Good day!" Ifu called. His greeting was friendly, though he was prepared to run if the other hyena was one of those hostile ones.

"Good day," she whooped back scanning the horizon for the source fo the voice. It such a terrible thing to be this friendly, but who woul hurt a voice of god? Recently she had met some of the most aggressive young ones alive and still she was not afraid. Spotting him she smiled and lept to her feet gracefully.

"I am Lamyae, voice fo god, who are you?" she started to make her way towards him excitedly, a new friend perhaps? Or maybe even a new body to add to her ranks, only time could tell.

"My name is Ifu'hamiji, but you may call me Ifu," he said, before trying to figure out what the other hyena had just said. Voice of god? Such things existed? And why didn't this god just speak for himself? Ifu had so many things to learn from this hyena female, it seemed.

"I fear that I am but a traveller on a quest for knowledge. I lack any fancy titles, or even a home to call my own. Which god are you the voice of? Is this god a friendly god? You seem like a friendly hyena."

"There is always a home among The Mwangaza, we are a peaceful race of hyena and are always welcoming others. You must of course accept Anga'fisi the goddess of all hyenas, our mother and savior. I am her voice, she is gentle and like an adoptive mother," Lamyae beamed and seemed to soak up the attention Ifu gave her, it was nice to preach to a more grown up audience.

"It is a pleasure to meet you, young one," she chuckled a bit examining him.

"It is a pleasure to meet you as well, Ms. Lamyae, voice of Anga'fisi," Ifu said with a polite bow of his head.

Young one? Well, Ifu was not quite an adult yet, so perhaps he could be classified as a young one. Though he wasn't a truely young one, for no mere pup would be wandering as he did.

The other hyena's description of her pack sounded interesting enough. "I would at least like to learn more about Anga'fisi. I've heard nothing of her before, which is most tragic, if she is the goddess of all hyenas." Ifu liked to think of himself as a hyena...he didn't know of any other species he resembled more.

Whether Anga'fisi existed or was something that lurked in the back of Lamyae's mind was something to be debated on another day. To her this goddess existed and held Lam in her grasps. When she preached of the goddess a glow of superiority was all around her and she seemed truly serene.

"Ahh, that is why I am here, the Goddess has found that hyenas do not remember her and that is why she sent me to Africa, to show others of her ways," she paused shaking her head lightly, "Someone your age and with your wanting to learn would be a great asset to us," she smiled. She rarely let out a barking laugh, she was usually blunt and all about the goddess.

"Where are your parents?" An instant thought that he was a trap engulfed her and she was suddenly scared, what if they would come for her? The paranoia came from the delusions.

Ifu shrugged, a bit unnerved at such a question. Surely he was too old to be still listening to his parents? "I have no idea, to be honest. I got separated from them when I was young, and have since made it my mission to seek out knowledge of all of Africa. My quest has, alas, run into some trouble, for few have wanted to tell me what they know. Speaking to you is a nice change."

"Knowledge is what should drive a pack, and all Hyenas," she dismissed her thoughts of him being a trap. And as he thought he was quite old to be worrying about his mommy and daddy. She wanted her pack to be based more on a family, not solely on a few loan hyenas.

"You are quite wise, for a child. I do not mean that badly, you have years ahead of you," she smirked.
