Ever gotten to stage with music where you want something fresh, so you just randomly pick something that you've only ever heard of, but never actually heard anything from?
I've been doing that alot lately. Some bands that I know find I absolutley love which up until a few weeks ago had no idea about include, Pulp, Radiohead and Portishead

I don't really do that in terms of buying music (I'm very careful with my money), but I do love learning about bands that I'm not familiar with. Most of my "friends" on myspace are bands that you never hear on the radio.

ahhh the joys of the wonderous ten dollar music shop. All Cd's $10 latest releases and more! Yeah I probablly wouldn't check out as much music if they weren't around.
I also tend to stem towards more obsucre things too. I recently found out that one my current fave artist Cornelius' wife, Takako Minekawa, actually has some albums, but due to her being a japanese artist with no international releases it's almost impossible to find her. The only thing from her I've found was on some website, probablly the Japan amazon.com preview for it or something. Shame really cause I quite enjoyed it.
