Breaking the ice, and venturing a post here--just whack me if I get annoying.
I've been working on my art for a while, and while I think I've improved, I can't really say I know for sure. The thing is, I'm always sketching, but I never do anything with my sketch--I always mess up on cleaning up my lines, and this has caused me to just not do it anymore. However, I think that all I need is a bit of motivation to start up again.
And really, I need to. Not being able to clean anything up usually leaves me with messy sketches that I don't feel like sharing, and if I don't share, I get no critique.
So, I was wondering if anyone had a freebie art thread or an art shop that they'd be willing to share with me? I'd be happy to try and clean up my sketches and scan them in for you to see--look at the progress!--but I'm really asking on this forum because I'd like to work with someone on a more personal basis so that I don't have to feel as if I just applied.
... And okay, I have no self esteem.

I'll contact you if the fancy ever strikes me though, meow xd
On another note: Would you be interested in working in a guild art shop if this guild started one?

I'll contact you if the fancy ever strikes me though, meow xd On another note: Would you be interested in working in a guild art shop if this guild started one? Yes, please do! I'm busy myself, but the thought of setting one up always seems like so much fun. I think a guild art shop would be the greatest idea, and I would be all for it!

Or would you like to talk about some ideas for it first (Over PM?). I'm a bit energetic today. whee So, pardon my enthusiasm! And while I can always make time for drawing, I don't think I'd be able to run the shop--another reason why I'm looking for someone to work with--and I'd be relieved if someone else was willing to do that.

Anyways, I'm getting a tablet soon. whee So, that will hopefully help with my original problem and the shop! I'm hard to catch, meow! I get online in little spurts :3 I'm Eastern US/Upstate New York. Tablets are teh awesome! I have mine, but I don't draw direct xd I usually just use it for coloring.

Here's an idea: What if Notopu and I ran it from the MangaBlue account?
That way, one of us will definitely be online at least once a day, meow!

I'm going to force myself to learn how to draw directly. My school is harsh, and I have very little time for scanning, printing, inking, scanning, and cleaning again. I also tend to mess up on my inking, and so I'd like to be able to correct that quickly and painlessly. Besides, my hand is unsteady--when inking--anyways, so I might as well try it with a tablet. Not that it wouldn't already be a lot of help just for coloring.
