Mikey Way:
BIOGRAPHY
Michael James Way (September 10, 1980), most commonly known as Mikey Way, is the bass guitarist for the alternative rock/pop-punk band My Chemical Romance and the brother of frontman Gerard Way. Mikey was born in Newark, New Jersey, where he grew up.
He is responsible for the band's name, which came from the book Ecstacy: Three Tales of Chemical Romance, by Irvine Welsh, while working at a Barnes and Noble bookstore in Clifton, New Jersey.
Mikey learned bass in order to be able to play in the band, which lacked a bassist at the time. He plays both A Highway 1 Precision Bass, and a Fender Standard Precision Bass.
Mikey is Scottish & Italian, just like his brother, and is related to Joe Rogan, Host of the NBC game/stunt show Fear Factor and former cast member of the sitcom News Radio (Joe is Gerard & Mikey's second cousin through their mother's side).
He currently lives in Brooklyn, NY with his fiancee Alicia Simmons.
FACTS
Mikey is nearsighted, along with being a recovering iPod junkie.
The first concert he ever went to was a Smashing Pumpkins concert.
His favorite band is Anthrax, and his favorite food is sushi.
Injuries: liver damage, broken toes, and multiple respiratory infections.
He has recently had laser eye surgery, he no longer wears glasses.

I found a couple watching the vid on the Black Parade site.
"I woke up one day, and I could see again." (on cosmetic changes, accompanied by hand gestures)
"A conch shell." (on things they'd take with them on a desrt island, to which (I believe) Frankie goes, "It's an island; they already have those.")
