This story is so sad even if it is a classic. emo Anyone else a Shel Silverstein fan?

I remember it well, when I was in 8 grade, we put on a play based upon the book and I was the old man who used the tree stump to rest upon.
Another great one was Jonathan Livingston Seagull -- I did an essay on that book to get into Law School.

I grew up on Shel Silverstein. Mostly his poetry. I do own that book though. 'tis sad. sad
