Well it's hard to say....
They pretty much wrapped up the story in POTC 1
and then they messed up that happy ending in POTC 2...
But they were both good I guess!
But I would prefer 1

Sure, the ending Dead Man's Chest was messed up, but the entire movie was three times more funny than the first was. And I'm into the funny.

I think that the ending on POTC2 was a little screwed up. If the ending wasn't bad I probably would go with it, although POTC1 was the one that started all of this, and it was the movie that made us fall in love with the characters. heart

I thought CotBP was better because it was fresher--some of the ideas in DMC are a little stale. Mind you, DMC was brilliantly funny, but it didn't quite have the continuity and flow of its predecessor. I think both movies were good, but the first movie seemed more of a complete story, able to stand on its own two legs even without the other two sequels, whereas DMC is very much a sequel movie, the middle party of a trilogy.

I really like Barbossa, so I'd say I just because he's in it so much. The second one was really goo too, and the fish people looked great! heart The Kraken and Davey Jones, but pirate mrgreen heart To Barbossa and his monkey Jack!
