Okay, for years now I've been coming up with my own galaxy (yes you read right...GALAXY) for my characters to live and interact in. And for years I've hidden it away. No one knew the whole idea...hell Shock didn't even know I was thinking most of this stuff up until a few weeks ago. xd Due to horrible experiences on Deviantart and other places I was deathly afraid of my characters and my ideas being stolen.

Well now I've opened up a bit. I never really plan to make this into a published book series (though I have entertained the thought of writing it out and making bound copies for friends) so I'm not....overly afraid of people stealing my stuff anymore. Though if I find out someone does I'll kill them...with sharpened fluffy pillows.

Anyway, past my rant. This project is still my baby really...I love working on the ideas and characters when I get the chance ^_^ and populating an entire galaxy can be ROUGH work.

That's where you all come in! The following posts will lay out the basic plot and world info, how the characters work, and my own personal list of characters created thus far. I'm inviting you all to join in and help me think up new characters ^_^ I have a friend who made a comic series, and in it each character was based on one of his friends, or someone he knew...it was SUCH a cool idea...and I thought something like that could help me develop some new characters.

Please note a few things:
*All characters are anthros, or in some cases normal animals. There are no humans. There MAY be mecha...you'll have to run the idea by me before I totally accept it.
*Despite being anthros, most of the characters have the ability to go from their anthro form to their animal form, and back again. Some worlds actually prefer one form over the other.
*I may be a bit picky over certain aspects of your character. I have been thinking this up for YEARS and have certain rules and such in my world...but I will give you tips and a chance to revise it should something really stick out as not working ^^
*When you submit a character you are allowing me to write them into the story as I please. I will allow you to help me come up with background info, and I will give credit to you for the original idea of the character. I just don't want someone chewing my head off for "stealing" their character since I was so afraid of that myself. Later on I'll probably make a site to hold all the character profiles, and I will contact you to help me write up this information if you would like me to.
*You don't have to give me a full character XD I know some people may have difficulties doing that. The last info post of this thread will have some forms you can use to help you out.
*Feel free to base this character off of yourself, or just one aspect of your personality. I personally found it very neat that a character based off of me and my personality exists in someone else's story.

If you'd like to draw out your character then feel free to do so, if not I'll be trying to draw any submitted when I have free time *nodnod*

Character Types

These are just some ideas of what alliance and such your character can have.

Mortal : Still alive, and living on one of the planets. These characters have a variety of different occupations. They usually do not have wings unless their species calls for it (avians for example).

Angel : The inhabitants of heaven. Some occupations here include guardian angels, warrior angels, and mystic angels. Guardian angels watch over mortals, warrior angels are the main ones who go against the ranks of hell, and mystic angels watch from the sidelines, often giving advice or healing those injured in battle. There are other ranks, but these are the main ones. They always have feathered wings.

Demon : The inhabitants of hell. The occupations are much like that of heaven, with some being fighters, some being healers, and some being recruiters. These ranks really don't have set names yet XD They always have dragon/bat wings.

The Fallen : Those who have passed but don't fit in with either Angels or Demons. They usually have torn wings, or a mixture of feathered and demon. (sometimes one of each, sometimes two pairs). They spend their time wandering the galaxy and the planets for a place to fit in. They CAN move up in their rank and eventually become an Angel or a Demon if they try hard enough.

The Lost : Those who have been killed in the afterlife (it is possible in this world). No one knows what becomes of them...

Here's some forms you guys can use if you need a place to start.

The first one is the one I use for my own characters when I'm writing their bios. Its a bit detailed XD The second will just list some basic info you can give me if you'd like me to develop a character for you.

Keep in mind you may help create more than one character, the more the merrier!

Domain: (the domain of the Pakius they have been blessed with. May be more than one, CANNOT be all)

Rank: (the rank of their occupation, Bulls for example would be a Master Assassin)
Fur Color: (doesn't have to be a natural color)

Attire: (pictures are loved, to help give me a better idea of what you'd like)

Attacks: (usually involves the domain they've been blessed by)
Unique Ability: (Morpher? Psychic? Anything unique like that? Most creatures can morph from their anthro form to an animalistic form, but don't have the ability to morph to a whole new species, thus making it unique)

Any other little tidbits you'd like to add in to help personalize the character. For example I have a necklace I wear just about everyday, I'd request for my character to be wearing it so it's more like me.

Distinquishing Marks: Much to his personal embarassment, he has the symbol of a tornado tatoo-ed on his back. He is sure it's from his birth.
Attire: Very simple, very basic clothes. Pants are always full length to hide chicken legs, and shirt does not have sleeves to allow full wing usage.
Weapons/Equipment: His only equipment is the pack he carries water and food in, as well as the pole he can summon from any amount of natural light. (Summoned light does not work, light made by technology like lightbulbs would)
Attacks: From his devotion to the goddess Celeste, Bartholomew has achieved high power in spiritual arts and of light. His natural connection to the sky has helped link him to Zephyr, which has led to development of wind talents.
Unique Ability: The strangest thing about Bartholomew is that he can blend, create, and cast spells with ease, and does not require undisturbed focus.
Personality: Very quiet, rarely starts conversations but enjoys being with people anyways.
History: Barth is sure that he doesn't want to remember his earliest history. He was left at one of the greater temples to be trained there, but before that there was no record. He was forced to leave his temple as soon as he was officially a priest, as violence was imminent there. Almost less than a day later, the entire temple was slashed to pieces. No leads on the culprits was divulged.
