Okay, so I'm working on toning up... but not sure how to go about it.

I'd like to tone up my arms, and tighs, since I've already got the abs and calves covered. I'm looking to an excersice I can do with no equipment too, since well... I have none sweatdrop

hmm...are you able to buy tiny weights? if not, you'll have to use something in the house with some weight and do things like bicep curls. use light weights and lots of reps to tone. i don't know about thighs though with no equipment whee

If you can't afford to by weights, use tinned food. Those you can use for your arms. Pushups are also great and chinups if you can find somewhere to do them.

For your thighs, they are the hardest area to tone up. Cardio work is probably the best for that area, burn off the fat to show the muscle underneath. Otherwise, squats are great when done correctly.

I've been doing the thing where you sit up against the wall for like...a minute and seeing some improvement...

you won't be able to tone up unless you burn fat. you could have defined muscles etc in your thighs but it would be all hidden underneath a layer of fat, so cardio exercise COMBINED with a low calorie healthy diet (50% of it is exercise but the other 50% is nutrition) along with some core exercise like squats etc is the way to go about getting the body you want.

I dont know if its still relevent considering you asked it Aug 27, 2006. But The best things to do are bicep curls like Rob said, the push ups ect.. and for the legs you're wall sit is a good start! Good you came across that, you should also try SQUATS! I know it seems like you would need weights to make that work but squat alot and deep. And thats just for the stretching aspect of it then hold a sqaut position for a long time. Like the Wall sit, it is to tone them over time. I'm used to doing it, I picked it up while trying under the Wushu style of martial arts. it works but if you're not ready for the long times then start off small cause you'll feel the burn. whee stressed

I am with you on the toning. I am trying to tone my arms, upper legs and my abs. My abs are doing well with crunches, curl-ups, sit-ups, etc but still need that last push to get the lightly defined six-pack that I crave. AS for my arms, I have been lifting alot lately at work since I have to carry and stock large amounts of pop but they have a long way to go! And my legs have the muscles but as mentioned earlier, they are covered by fat.
