For those of you who don't know, Happy Happy Joy Joy was arguably the signature song of Ren & Stimpy (along with the Log Song).
The song, like the show, was a bit sinister, considering the age of the audience. That didn't stop me from singing (chanting) it, though.
I've got the first couple of verses, but does anyone know the rest of the song?Quote: Hello, boys and girls. This is your old pal, Stinky Weaselteats.

Although, I do agree with you - the violent tendicies Ren displays, along with the sheer crudness of the show itself, may render it inappropriate for children. That did not, however, curb its popularity among younger audiences. mrgreen My own mother did not realize the horrors of Ren and Stimpy, and allowed me to watch it accordingly.
Rocko's Modern Life contains less cynical humor towards such subjects as suicide and sex, but yes, it does have its fair share of adult content. Even so, the show is still considered classic, and I think that the more mature references made in the show make it enjoyable to those who treasured it as children: the love of audiences young and old - that is the mark of a classic, is it not?
Anybody else think that this'd make a great debate?
