I'm treated bad because I'm different in a world or conformity, when I want to be different they mock me. Harsh words because I'm not I don't want to be like everyone else. I am me not them. Not a mindless drone I think I breath when I want to. One person can not command me. My life is my own to live, so mock me choose to say harsh words. I'm different and I think that makes me better than you!

I like this, but it vaguely reminds me of something a friend of mine wrote. It's called 'Conformity Wears Ugg Boots'.

It's so nice to see that people can still hold their head up and be proud in school despite the fact that other people can be mindlessly cruel. Power to you!
One thing I will say, though, is that your poems seem to have no form, and it would really help to space them somehow, given the lack of punctuation. That way, it seems less like a giant run on sentence. 4laugh

I hate those kind of people. You always feel like me vs. school (at least I do). And it really hurts you the most when you're noticing all your friends just seem to drift away just like that. They won't tell you... never expect them to. Avoid them at all costs when you know. This is a warning.

It was interesting, but I was confused at first about wether it was a poem or a post. *shrug* It was good though. I can relate.

Yeah im only 14, but I think ahead and above the level of conformity among my fellow students. I get mocked all the time, but i can't cope too well, im getting there though... I must stand strong, so must everyone else like me, or that gets the same treatment.

Heh, that reminded me of that one time I went to school with a feathery tail on. Why don't people understand that life is so much more fun when you're wearing plumeage? heart
Please, go over your grammar with that? Other than that, I had no other greivances with it.

I thought it was very good, and very true. One of the sentences I thought should have a period and it could have used a few commas, but nothing serious that destroyed the point of the piece. I'm glad you're able to speak your mind proudly on stuff that bothers you- I've had friends who have been far from happy when I voiced my opinions stare Anyway, good job!

Sorry, but I can't really relate to the poem. Guess it was well written, though, it was more of a thought of prose. Maybe that was what you're were aiming for, though. lol sweatdrop

I liked it it was pretty good. The aspect of confomity... I can relate to it though in the long run I'm more treated with indifference rather then hostility. Meh it's really good though and as I stated above I really can relate to the feel of rejection and indiffernce.

It was written nicely but I really cant realte to it, sorry. But now that Im in high school, I've found that people really are different, every one is. And in my school, it seems like every one exepts that. Which really was a relief. But still, It seems bold and proud. lol whee

Indeed. The people at my school laugh and mock at me and my friends because we are not Preps or Chavs. We do however stand up for oursleves. I can truely relate to your piece of work.
