Resident Evil is a series of games that I only know by name.
Would you mind explaining a bit of what is it about?
First, is it a shot-'em-up?

RE is survival horror. But 4 is more actiony than the others in the series.
I have only played 4 but from what I know from what I've read and back story, the earlier re games were all about outbreaks of viral zombies. But again, 4 is different in that the enemies are not zombies, but parasite-infected people called Ganados.
You are a government agent who was a cop in an earlier game. It is six years after that game, and you have the rescue the president's daughter [Ashley Graham] from a Spanish cult of parasitic worshipers led by a guy named Osmund Saddler. Well, that's the gist of it, anyway.

A note though, it is really bloody, gory as well in some cases.
The goriest bits are probably your own death scenes, though. Highlight below for some minor spoilers [about ways you can die]:
Some ways you can die:
- Impaled by spikes in a spike pit
- Beheaded by an enemy's claws/thrown scythes/chainsaws/giant head eating things/etc.
- Acid to the face, and it shows the consequences
- Impaled by tentacles/pitcforks/giant claws etc. This includes this nice death scene where you get stabbed in the face, and then the abdomen...
- Getting your throat ripped out by a dog.
- cut in half...though it's not as gory as the decaps.
- etc. etc.
It's also rated M or 18+ in most locales, due to the gore and one little bit of innuendo.

XD, the head exploding enemies do is really satisfying when you are stressed out wink .

Cimber I love that game XP. I haven't played it in a while though, because I am bad at it, but yeah >]. I love me some Re4 <3 heart I love that game ^^ I have it for gamecube and I have the chicago typewrite,unlimited rocket launcher and the Hand Cannon ^^

I haven't been able to get the handcannon yet, Mercs is so fast paced XD. I've only got one five star rating, but then I haven't tried over 10 times or so. I don;t use uber weapons in my normal runs. I like knifin' stuff wink .

LEON HELP!
I got my dad hooked on it. We dub the cutscenes now. I've beaten it 7 times! Dad and I have a bunch of inside jokes 'bout it. xD
I think it's funny I got my dad hooked on Re4.
Re4 was the start of my zombie and shooter gaming genre obsession.
