I personally find that I'm often listening to Tool, VnV Nation, Voltaire, Imogen Heap, Sigur Ros and a ton of others.

Currently, my favorite band is Linkin Park, and has been for the past five years.
At the moment, my favorite songs are "P5hing Me Aw*y," "PPR.Kut," and "Numb."
I am the type of person who prefers one particular band, but will listen to others. I do like Green Day and some other bands I cannot name at the moment, and I do have some CD's with random songs by random bands on them.

I'm a techno mouse thanks to a certain party. But, I usually stick to Classical, Orchestra, Reggae, Film Scores ((instruments and vocals)), anything New Age and the occasional OK GO . I tend to listen to oriental music as well. My favorite song for the moment is 'Glory Box' by Portishead. My favorite bands are Dir En Grey, Outkast and Gorillaz.

Favorite artists--Gogol Bordello, Sex Pistols, New York Dolls, basically any band coming on my LAUNCHCast station that's rated "Love It". Sadly, I get no Dschinghis Khan.
Favorite songs--The Black Widow (Alice Cooper), Time Warp (Rocky Horror Picture Show), Start Wearing Purple (Gogol Bordello), Spanish Bombs (The Clash), Dschinghis Khan (Dschinghis Khan), Commando (Ramones), Trash (New York Dolls)

I like most of the music sequences, "Kidnap the Sandy Claws," "Sally's Song" and "Reprise/Finale" best. I suppose, given the context of the thread, by artist we both could say we like Danny Elfman... *craving to hear some Oingo Boingo songs*

My faveorite artists are Nickelback, Kelly Clarkson, Evenesance, Christina Agulara *AGH! I can't spell her last name for SQUAT!!*, and Lindsay Lohan.
Wow, odd combo. I just now realized that.
I mean... Evenesence... and...KELLY CLARKSON....
I'm so weird.
(Then again, I should have realized that when I told my brother my mule was Sophitia and he gave me a funny look.)

Favorite artists: Sex Pistols, Gorillaz, Beck, Nine Inch Nails, Queen, Prince, Wolfmother, Jamie T, Gnarls Barkley, The Good the Bad and the Queen...
I'm a music buff - I could go on forever. I'm mostly a fan of alternative, new age and rock, but I also like techno and reggae. Just nothing sappy. I hate sappy songs SO MUCH. mad
My favorite song shifts, like, every two minutes - it all depends on my mood. Right now it's 'World Destruction' by Time Zone, John Lyndon and Afrika Bambaataa. It's the collabo to end all others. surprised And it's so wonderfully eighties, all big synths and back-and-forth rap.

To be honest, I like any and all forms of music.
My secret passion is to learn the cello.
I can't stand people who bash others for their preference in music.
And I really can't stand people who won't stand up for the types of music they like just because they're in a group who dosn't favor it.

My favorate bands are Nickelback, Snow Patrol, and Blue October. I like sugar pop and alternative rock, as well as classic rock. I don't like rap or R and B music.

Like most people, when MP3 exploded across the scene my music preferences became a million times more eclectic but I won't bore you with the full range.

I'm glad a pole has sprung up about music as well.
Some artists I listen to: Disturbed, Three Days Grace, Linkin park, Jackyl, and Chevelle.
Songs I recommend respectively: Voices, Forgiven, Down With the Sickness, Pain, Animal I Have Become, In The End, Crawling, Breaking the Habit, I Stand Alone, Down On Me, The Lumberjack, The Clincher, Send the Pain Below, and The Red.
I hope you take some of these suggestions.

I really like Incubus. Alot.
I also like, System of a Down, Billy Talent, Greenday, Linkin Park.
Mostly alternative.
