With an exhausted sigh, Rose plopped down on her bed. She had just hauled her bags up all those steps. The servents certainly hadn't stuck around, and she was ready to collapse. She stared up at the ceeling ideally wondering what this place would be like. Would she make friends here? Would she finally learn to control those pesky powers of hers, maybe even to love them and accept them? Perhaps she could use this place to finally get out from her father's thumb. That would be a trick. She planned on exploring, she really did. However, her body refused to move and before she knew it, she was fast asleep.

Upon waking, Rose tied her messy hair back into a lose pony tail and slipped on her black robe over her plain clothes. Time to explore! As she slipped out of her dormatory, she spotted a girl two doors down as she ducked into her room and slammed the door as Rose tried to introduce herself. She doubted the girl had even seen her. She walked over to the girls door and stood there for a moment. She then knocked lightly on the door and tried to open it.here
