Aww, Memoirs of a Geisha is my favorite book too! It's so well written. I really do love it. It's hard to believe it isn't actually a real story as opposed to based off of many real ones. I liked the movie too, but the book was much better.

I had trouble trying to convince myself that these trials and tribulations of Sayuri were infact unreal. x.x I agree. When I went to see the movie I was so dissapointed. ;-;

I've heard of Dorian Gray. That's with the picture of him that ages so he doesn't right? My best friend had to read that for school last year. We agree we like Henry. whee

We liked Henry cause he was really manipulative and really didn't care about what anyone else thought. He was evil and so open about it you had to love him! But we figured that the painter friend of Dorian's was kinda gay.

But we figured that the painter friend of Dorian's was kinda gay. Well, yes, Basil was gay-sounding because Oscar Wilde was gay. XD But see, it's amusing because the original apparently sounded even more gay before it was edited when the whole book was published.. o.o

Oh wow. I'll have to tell my friend that one. We were laughing because it went on about them painting a picture and how Basil finished it really quick and all and then...what? What did they do in that time in which they were in the studio but not painting a portrait. We also got a kick out of the fact that it said all Basil's paintings were inspired by Dorian and that it could have been a landscape but it was still inspired by Dorian. It was mildly obsessive. Or maybe not so mildly.
