Quote: The Rules Prompt: I'll just.. deny you the crown and.. live forever. Prize: Lawful Evil Legian Creation Orb
You are an evil leader, possibly an overlord or ruler, or someone who just has great ambitions. But you are getting simply way too old to continue your reign. Your task is to write a list of guidelines to be passed down to your followers, possibly your children on how to be evil. You must roleplay yourself writing the list. It cannot just be the list.
Requirements: 1) You must state what alignment and race your legian is. 2) Please state at least 10 guidelines to be evil. 3) You must roleplay yourself thinking this up and writing it. Where are you? What are you doing? Do something shocking! 4) Creativity and characterization are major points for this prompt! Grammar is essential. 5) It has to be at least 300 words, but no more than 666 words.

Saede Alignment: Lawful Evil Race: Siren Entry "What are you writing?" Phyllis asked in a soft voice, completing the statement with a lengthy purr. Seconds ago she had been sleeping in her usual nest of silky sheets and pillows, but the near constant scratch of a quill on parchment had woken her quite easily. It was a natural reaction for a woman of her profession to wake up on a moment's notice, and at least this time around there was something unusual happening for which waking was scarcely a chore. When her cohort issued no reply Phyllis moved onto her hands and knees, crawling along the bed until she was right before her lord's back. Gently, she lifted her hands to rest on the man's shoulders so that she might read what he had written down on an apparently well aged scroll. The passage read: One: Rule with an iron fist. Punch some men, rape some women, buy the dark chocolate, and sleep with your boots on. Who's going to stop you? The Law? HA. See rule two for that!
Two: Try not to tangle with The Law. It rarely ends up pretty. You have minions for that kind of thing."Quaint," the lady sighed, chuckling lowly. "Do you mind?" "So you are listening to me!" Oliver Biggensworth III was not pleased. For one, his name was Oliver Biggensworth III, a title many had not taken seriously throughout his career as an evil overlord. Secondly, he never would have hired a prostitute if he knew she was going to be so… mouthy. Sure, the sex had been fabulous, but before and after intercourse it seemed all little miss slut could do was talk, talk, talk. Even while she had been sleeping, when Oliver had first begun to write his preemptive will, it seemed Phyllis could do nothing but ramble and moan over and over again in her dreams. One would think such a trait in that sort of companion would be inappropriate, but no. She knew what she was doing in the bedroom department, and, according to her, most of her customers could care less if she was a gossip whore (no pun intended). Unfortunately, Oliver did not fall into the category of 'most' on any level. "Like I could ignore you! I swear, if I wasn't in my old age, it would be straight to the dungeons with you!" While Phyllis began to giggle in a rather sultry fashion, Oliver took the time to write another few rules. Three: Practice practice practice. If at first they don't die, cut another artery.
Four: Believe in yourself. Confidence is key, so don't let any religious folks start frightening you with their crazy talk about killing being evil. ******** them up and leave their mangled bodies as a warning to others.
Five: Eat your meat red."Thirty is not old, Bigsby," the female interrupted, her voice taking on a sing-song quality. "Shut up, harlot! It's Biggensworth, the name of my father and my father's father! Respect! I demand respect!" Six: Go for the kneecaps, if all else fails.
Seven: Daggers. Don't have any? Get some. Always useful.
Eight: Do not give the hero types time to wander around and gather friends. Never a good idea."Hero types?" "Woman, if you do not quiet yourself, so help me I will… be very upset!" Nine: Wear black.Phyllis slid a hand along the other's bare chest, relishing in the fact she was flustering a man that had conquered nations. She would stop laughing at his silly testament, but only because she had found she was in the mood for something more pleasant. Just to be nice, it would only be half the usual fee. As Oliver started a final guideline, her hand slipped much lower. Ten: U-*inksplot*-der no circumstan-*inksplot*-ces will you -*largeinksplot*-EVER hire aIt was at that time Oliver decided the next generation of evil could figure things out for itself.
Erina_Nobara Entry I, Hel, am growing old in age, and will not be able to continue my reign over Niflheim. I have compiled a list; a set of instructions if you will, for my children. There are rules written here that they WILL adhere to even after my death. And so I title it: THE ART OF BEING EVILSitting in my candle-lit dungeon, hunched over a desk covered in papers; I scrawl out this very list. Number 435. Make enemies. That’s what you’re here for.
Number 436. Lie, manipulate to the best of your abilities, do whatever it takes to make others see it your way…I cursed as ink dripped from my quill again, splattering on the parchment. “I must make sure this list is complete and finished before my time comes……But what’s this? ……..Am I running out of ideas? No it can’t be. I just need-…” And as if on cue, one of my loyal servants appeared. It was perfect. “Is there anything I can do for you Mistress?” “Yes, as a matter of fact. I will give you the honor of staying here and inspiring me,” I replied with a smirk as I jotted down yet another. Number 437. Have loyal, absolutely obedient followers. Evil minions are a must!“Into the Iron Maiden with you,” I ordered, pointing across the room to the device of torture. My servant gulped. “Th-thank you. I gratefully accept this honor.” he replied, obediently stepping inside as I locked him in. An ear-shattering scream filled the air as I leaned on the switch. Number 438. Practice torture because you can. “Going along with Number 438...” Number 439. Violence is always the answer.
Number 440. Inflict fear in all those you come across. Word of who you are will spread. Publicity is good.I continued on, humming a tune. These rules and instructions were coming to me quicker now. And I had to begin a second scroll to move on. Number 441. Make sure you get all the information you want out of them before you kill spies, and traitors. Who knows the benefits that may come of it.
Number 442. Always clean the alter after sacrifices and rituals.
Number 443. All Goody-goody heroes are the enemy. No exceptions. This even includes their pets anything petty enough to wear a halo.As I wrote, I began to feel as though someone were watching me. Before I knew it, I could feel the sharp, cold pain of steel being plunged into my back. There was the clatter of footsteps fleeing the room. And everything went black as I lie hunched over the table, and bled over my last line. Number 444. And always watch your back. ((And in the end, she didn’t die of old age at all, but because she wasn’t able to follow her own advice. What a pity. >.<; ))

Eighth: Until you have a powerful position always obey your superiors or killed them so you will climb on evil status.

-"I think I finish. You want to add something more?” – I match her when she get up and start walking to the exit.- “No, I think that the way you put it it’s the best one, have fun telling Kristen that she will be the next capo of the Tanuki Clan.” She wink at me and say goodbye.
I stay a little longer in the pond and take my clothes and run to my secret cabin.

Tuari Hello! This is my entry for the second prompt. I am interested in a lawful evil Legian, vampire race. biggrin My writing came to exactly 666 words. Thank you! I'm still finishing my art and design entries, I hope I'll be done in time. smile -------------------
1. Force is the most effective and efficient means to do something. The nib of his pen hovered over the period as he considered what he wrote. Thin lips pressed together thoughtfully while the candle guttered as it neared its end. With a soft creak from the well worn leather chair, he sank back into it and sighed irritably. Force indeed. It was, of course, more efficient to use force….but when one could not commit the force? Holding his hand up to the light he watched it for the tell-tale spasms. Ah. There. It was that one thing that had stayed his hand just hours earlier. He picked up his quill in frustration and continued.
2. Harm should be delivered with the swiftness of an arrow and benefits given at the slow pace of honey. 3. Be decisive. If you say you are going to do something, then do it. Empty threats make a bad reputation. It had just been another sign. His hand had gone to his sword with his usual unnatural swiftness and yet…he could feel his strength wan when he drew the blade. It was then that he realized how much he had lost. The blade slid back into its scabbard and he looked at the intended target with a projected gaze of distain. He had been called merciful at that moment but not by his advisors. He could see it in their eyes. They knew. 4. Be wary of flattery. 5. Being loved and feared seldom go hand in hand. Being feared brings greater security. The room went dark. With a curse he fumbled with his ink filled pen a moment before speaking softly. “ illuminati” A soft glow enveloped his quill and he returned to his task. For so long he’d only used magic when in desperate need…but now? Conserving it did nothing to delay the inevitable. 6. Everyone lies. Always. 7. Do not consistently throw your honor away for the sake of getting what you want. To all appearances, be faithful and only be deceitful when you gain from it. Honor. There really wasn’t anything to that but appearances. He’d left honor far behind many years ago. Through lies, deceit and murder he had earned his place as the ruler of his kingdom. His queen, may the gods keep her soul, had sweetly believed his lies their entire marriage. 8. Command respect through your conduct in public, behind closed doors is another matter. 9. Be lethal when it is deserved, but reign in cruelty. Cruelty breeds hatred. It was too late for hatred, not when there where already whispers of his weakness among the courts. Three times this month alone his word had been challenged by those who knew better, it took all of his strength to stand against them. Nothing like before….fifty years ago they would have trembled at the thought of speaking out against him….but now even the fear in his son’s eyes had dissipated. It was only a matter of time… 10. Be ruthless with those who stand in your way but always, ALWAYS act with a veneer of class. With that, he tossed his pen aside and gazed at his written rules. He had broken them. All of them through his lifetime. Most within these last few months. The dregs from his wine tasted bitter as he let the flavor linger in his mouth. There was a spark in his mind at the sharp taste that stung at his tongue….he choked as he swallowed, trembling arms shoved the chair from his desk and he staggered to his feet. He had gotten slow….complacent. Trusting. The room spun and he fell to his knees. The rug was thick, the door hinges oiled…..he hadn’t heard his son enter. “Father? You look ill.” The dry tone made him smirk weakly. Perhaps he hadn’t failed in all ways….his hand lunged out and gripped the booted ankle before him. “Not……bad…” He ground out through clenched teeth as the light faded from his eyes.
Kuuroinochou Quote: Alignment: Lawful Evil Race: Gargoyle The battlefield before me was littered beyond the horizon with mangled corpses and disemboweled limbs, I couldn't have asked for a better send-off party if I wanted. Considering I was getting on in moons, it was time that I settled down and changed the direction of my life. As I scanned my surroundings, men stood huddled in front of a campfire, each one telling obscene jokes and stories of their exploits while under my campaign. I choose that time to retire to my tent and begin the workings of a new plan...a manuscript to pass on in my absence.Quote: [How to Becoming an Overlord] DESIGNATIONChoosing a designation will mold you and carry your legacy upon the wind. MOTIVESWhat makes you the evil b*****d that you are? Power, greed, insanity, or neglect? There are an assortment of other possibilities, you would do well to explore them. WORLD DOMINATIONAsk yourself what methods best suits you for complete world take over? Mull this over in your head, come up with possible schemes then practice them continuously until fruits are born of your labors. STRENGTHSFigure out what qualities you have that will start your career to success. Use them to your advantage whenever the time presents itself. WEAKNESSESEveryone has them but only an overlord will acknowledge them and grow in stronger from them. As I was just getting into my task at hand, a loud commotion from outside alerted my attention. Leaving the tent to investigate I found my men prancing about like a pack of gypsies. "What the hell is going on out here!?" I roared, "Put some damn cloths on you wretched idiots!"
"But my lord we are simply celebrating. Won't you come join us?" One of them drawled.
Glaring I joined them, and took part of some fire-water offered by my advisor. My men were quite marry tonight as they told stories, sang and presented various gifts to me in gratitude of their services. I found this to be a bit nostalgic but in the end the campfire dimmed and my men slowly began to drop like flies into a drunken slumber. Returning to my tent I found it to be a perfect time to finish my work.Quote: LAIR The most noteworthy source of respect is an overlord's lair. This is a place of sanctuary for the overlord and his minions, while doubling as a fortress and homestead. MINIONS No overlord can carry out their evil schemes without the aid from underlings. Be they classic thieves, mutant race, familiars, the undead, or a religious zealots, a smart overlord would always have access to a multitude of willing followers. FASHION They say that the cloths make the man. Choosing garments that are both comfortable and useful in and out of battle is ideal. Dark or neutral color schemes keep you hidden and allow you to blend well in large crowds. KNOW YOUR ENEMY It's a good idea to review your enemy's strengths and weaknesses. Send out your minions to do a little espionage, collect the information then, research. Work scenarios out in your mind and then apply them to life. FUNDINGSteal, kill, cheat and destroy, loot and plunder! All of the wonderful practices necessary to fund your future campaigns. Don't be afraid to keep prisoners and make them work for your cause, if all else fails kill them. While I had wanted to continue my eyes were steadily growing heavy, my body growing weaker by the minute. I stood to my feet for but a moment before stumbling to my knees. The vague noise of voices and the shuffle of feet sailed to my ears, I was quite certain of the outcome. A treason was afoot, "Strike true." I spoke in hushed words as spears, pikes and swords impaled my tent. It was oddly ironic that my final days as overlord would also be my final days in life. I had no regrets...
Melodic_neko Emperor Alkyda had ruled over the dark country of Osa for over a century, his life expanded because of his powerful magic, though his life was now coming to an end. With no heir to the kingdom, Alkyda had no choice but to leave the kingdom to his nephew, Alastor, whose heart was guided by light. “I must find someone whose heart is driven by darkness,” Alkyda had said when he heard the news, but his chief advisor had told him he had no choice; Alastor was the only member of his generation that had inherited the great power that allowed the Niuse Dynasty to continue. ‘I’ll have to convince him otherwise and to rule over this kingdom as every ruler of the Niuse Dynasty has before him.’ That was when Alkyda decided to make a guideline for the young Alastor. A spell would be cast on the parchment as to make anyone who read it follow the guidelines perfectly. As he made his way to the study, several of the servants snickered as they passed him by. ‘They must think this attempt to corrupt Alastor’s mind into the darkness is an sign of an emperor’s desperation.’ Alkyda thought, opening the thick wooden door to his beloved study. Within that study generations of Emperors had written and signed treaties, declared war and peace, and wrote the laws of the country. Sitting down in his favorite lounge chair, he began to write. His handwriting was elegant and elaborate, with wavy lines. The first line read, “Every heart has a dark side, whether dominant, or recessive, everyone shows everyone their darkness one way or another.” He continued with simple words, as to allow his youngest nephew to understand what it said. “There is always a way to reveal one’s inner darkness. Simply by learning the truth about life: The world is filled with darkness, overflowing with dark and evil energy. Greed, selfishness, jealousy, the emperors of the Niuse Dynasty has always ruled this country by the darkness of their hearts. Simply by being themselves. “You must become the emperor of this country, as the most recent emperor of the Niuse Dynasty. Rule over this country as every Niuse emperor has before, and allow the country to prosper with your naturally dark self as their leader. You must do as this parchment tells you.” And to add the finishing touch, Alkyda wrote: “Evil always wins.” Alkyda reread his guidelines carefully, editing several of the lines. ‘More specific.’ He thought, ‘It needs to be more specific.’ When he was finally done, he put on his best leather gloves on and cast the spell: “Bai khui nah, non ai no, khan tu kei, ai tai ko.” A simple spell that could be broken or reversed by the youngest apprentice easily would not be detected. He sealed the guidelines within an envelope and brought it to his nephew’s room. All he could do now was wait for the time when his nephew revealed his true darkness. Then Alkyda would no longer be the emperor, and the Niuse Dynasty would continue.
.[ paramekia ]. Sorry, this is somewhat longer than it's meant to be but I found it hard to squeeze down everything to 66 words and hand to leave it as short as possible without losing a lot of the detail. n_n;Prompt II "Greetings my children,
By now you know that I am far beyond my youth and the years have taken their toll upon my being. No longer am I quite as powerful as I once was and for that reason I believe that it is time that I passed the mantle of power to one who can better the name of this Guild and protect it from those who would sooner surpress the angry and ignored voices within the land of Eonath..."
Pausing briefly, quill in hand, the Leviathan Legian adjusted his glasses and reread the opening paragraph of his letter to those of his Guild, the Blessed of the Dark Winds. In his old age he was beginning to find it almost troublesome to right due to how often his hands shook - he blamed it upon many battles in which his hands had been assaulted (for he was a scholar and not one who excelled in combat), he also blamed it on the many times they had been broken under torturous conditions for information he didn't have.
Luckily, it was sufficiently easy to read and he was able to continue, choosing to ignore that pressing weight on his shoulders and the looming dread that reminded him that his time upon Legia was eventually going to come to an abrupt close - in fact, it frighted him so much that he had taken to writing a letter to his followers in order to bestow suitable guidelines upon them so that they would not struggle even when he was gone, so they wouldn't dither to a weak minded leader and become as ignorant as the 'good' aligned. So that they wouldn't forget why they were there and why they were part of his Guild...and thus he continued.
"It is for you to decide who is to take the mantle, provided you exact the ascension with honour and dignity. If necessary I will approve of bloodshed so long as a leader is established and the Order is not thrown in to absolute chaos.
However, this is the only exception and I expect you to follow al lthe guidelines I list below for when I am gone. Remember that we are here for one purpose, to gain control of the three most important points within Legia and nothing must stop us - I have given you a list that you may find useful to consult on many occasions should situations arise and you are unaware of how you must deal with them..."
Again he paused to assure that it was legible before mentally drawing out the guidelines that he would deem useful to the more senior and even the juniour recruits. He only desired those who were well aware of their purpose to be part of the Order, he did not approve of those who were flighty and simply enjoyed following the crowd or current popularity ratings for the sake of a boost in ego.
Yes, he knew exactly what he would put.
"Heed my words, for they will be invaluable to you.
1. Always keep your word of honour, you are fool if you make promises you cannot keep but you must have honour. If you must withdraw your word then it is advisable to find lawful means to do it - this way you do not turn the allies of the Order against you. In keeping your word you will also be seen as more reliable and may be supported much more than those who oppose us - more support means more manpower.
2. Never betray the Order, if you do so you will be killed - I do not like the flighty as they dither and are incompetant in battle.
3. To those who do not gain our respect, you may lie or cheat accordingly provided that it benefits the cause. They are below you and as a result it is advisable to make use of them - everyone has their uses.
4. For those who do show respect, treat them with respect in return. If it is a duel then demonstrate courtesy as well as honour and self-discipline, you may find that you attract them to your cause for being the more desirable individual.
5. If necessary, work with those on opposing sides to attain your goals. There is no shame in letting them do the work before reaping the rewards yourself while they are left in the dark or in a tight situation - it is all about our goals and no one elses.
6. Never kill or torture for pleasure, always have a reason as, if the law follows you, you will always have an excuse and a useful alibi to keep them from placing you behind bars. One of the Order behind bars is by no means useful to us..."
Again he paused and then with a sigh, dipped his quill into the ink well once before and chewed on his lower lip. He had many guidelines to give to his followers and yet just not enough time to write them down this evening, it was really quite irritating. Nevertheless, he decided that it was best to write as many down before his next meeting and he would return to it later - he was sure he could get a few more in...
"7. If you must torture, then do so only to gain information as if it is for pleasure the Order will come across as thuggish and immoral, it is best for us to keep the innocent on our side and otherwise unaware of our true goals.
8. The innocent may not be killed but it is perfectly reasonable to kidnap, harm or harass them provided it is beneficial for us. If they enable us to gain funds, information or oaths of loyalty then in the name of the Order, do it.
9. Bend the law to benefit yourself, quote the laws that will save you and will hinder others. Ensure that at all times the authorities are on your side and if you do this then you will find that very few will resist when you make any moves that they would otherwise deem to be inappropriate - remember my friends, all are mortal and have a weakness. Bribe, manipulate and corrupt if necessary - everything is for the Order.
10. The strong were always born to surpass and rule over the weak, you should never feel obligated to help someone in need. If they benefit you or your goals at the given time then you may take the decision to aid them if you desire but you are no paladin and thus, you have no reason to act as such.
However, if they prove to be from a position of wealth and status it is advisable to help them for the sake of an oath of repayment. Provided you do not name the repayment then they will be kept within your grasp and with such influencial positions I am certain that you are all well aware of the uses they have."
It was only as he documented his tenth guideline that the door to his study was knocked and he was reminded of the time. Whether he desired free time or not, he was subject to the constraints of his duty to the Order and his guidelines would have to wait. With that in mind, he placed his quill within the inkwell and raised to his feet, clasping the ebony walking stick as he moved towards the door.
Glancing back briefly at his desk and the document upon it, he brushed the hair away from his eyes and opened the door to be met by the expectant member outside. Young and a junior within the ranks but still one with potential to be the leader of his order one day, he would need them, he knew it.
Nevertheless, as he closed the door he remembered one rule he should ideally have put down at the start.
Never forget that your duty is to the acquisition of the lands of Legia, through any means necessary.

Mizu_Taji Sitting back in my plush chair and chewing on the feathered end of my quill, I pondered. What does it take…to be me? To be sure it took a lot of time and effort to become the angel lord that I was today; so many people…stepped on. I’ve been called evil many times in my day, but unlike some, there are rules to be followed, kept, and remembered. Time wasn’t on my side at the moment, and the rules needed to be recorded for the next generation so that they, perhaps, could become as great and powerful as me. Though I highly doubted that… “Assistant!” My voice carried throughout the room, and soon a little griffon male scuttled in, body shaking but not saying a word. Pleased with his promptness, I tossed him my saliva dredged quill and grinned. “I need you to write something down for me.” As soon as the command passed from my lips he snatched up a piece of parchment with trembling hands and nodded, ready to begin. “One- Rise up in the ranks by any means necessary” I stopped and watched as the male scribbled it down. He was a very neat, yet fast writer. “Two- Keep friends close, and enemies closer” I paused again, though it didn’t seem like I needed too. Ah how I love it when I pick a good servant. It’s quite a pleasing feeling. “Three- Everyone is your enemy” The boy blinked at me for a moment, but then thought better of it as his handwriting mimicked my words. The pause didn’t surprise me. In fact I would have worried if he didn’t stop. “Four-Intelligence is key. Gather as much as you can. You never know when it will become useful.” I paused as I tried to think of some other ground rules and to allow the boy to catch up. Being evil didn’t mean you had to be cold-hearted all the time… “Five- Treat your subjects well every once in a while to avoid mutinies… Six- Treat your army leaders with as much respect as allowed without making them equal… Seven- exploit any and every weakness” I stopped again as the griffon frantically tried to catch up. “Eight- Everyone has the power to overthrow you. Make sure they don’t learn that.” The male eyed me with wonder, though stopped when I scowled at him. It’s so much fun to watch him tremble with fright. “Nine- Land is good. Take as much as you can within tactical allowance…” “And…ten-Keep your own life safe. Let others do the dirty work.” When the boy finished I took the parchment and read it over, smirking as I did so. The griffon beamed with joy as I nodded my approval. Walking over, I placed my hands on his shoulders. “I know I have been hard on you my boy, but it is the only way to harden yourself,” I started, then rustled his hair and kissed him on the top of his head. “I know you will do well when to take my place.” The griffon smirked lightly, which made me all the prouder. “I understand father… if there’s anything else I can do…” I raised my hand in response and dismissed him, my heart full of confidence. My kingdom…was safe. ((gah...the badness...))
