It was a great song, and a great followup to the original. But does it really sound like metallica??? It just dosn't feel like metallica every time I listen to it.

Personally I liked The Unforgiven II more than the original. The 2nd had more metal in it and the riffs and beats where just more addicting. Less solo guitar and more as a whole band playing one song.

yeah know, I think they should have called it "Unforgiven Too", because of teh line "or are you unforgiven too." Don't you think that would have been creative??

It stongly reminds me of Lynyrd Skynyrd's Free Bird.

I think is a pretty good song. 3nodding

Well they called it The Unforgiven II because it kind of is a sequel to the first song. The song literally takes off where the first one left off if you can make the connection, not through the title but through the lyrics.

I like both of them, I and II...but personally II doesn't quite sound like their general style. It still rocks, I just like I better.

I know, I just think unforgiven too would have been more creative. That's what godsmack did with their songs, voodoo, and voodoo too.

I loved 'Unforgiven II'.

And to those who say it doesn't sound like Metallica...

Last I checked, it was up to Metallica to say what they sound like.

I like the second one. I guess because it sounds better, and I can relate to it's meaning more.
