Very popular, yet it's not up here yet... so I figured I'd do the honours.
For those of you uninformed, S*P is basically a comic about a bitter, mean-spirited man, his life, and the lives of his friends and family around him. Recently won an award for something like "Best dramatic webcomic". It's extremely funny, and comments on many aspects of life and different kinds of people. I beg you, check it out: Something Positive
If you DO read it...
Well...
Talk about it. xD

I love Davan. He's so f-ing miserable. Yet at the same time I hate him a little. Go figure.
I liked his hair when it was longer. Boo for haircuts.

I love Davan too...
Pissed off and wounded is my type. heart The more miserable they are, the more I adore them. He makes me very happy, though I hope his friends can make him a little less bitter about life.

I actually can't stand any of them a little bit. They're all just a little bit too... Gah. Just forgot the word. Kinda of hypocritical, but not quite. Bit full of themselves, but not. It's hard to describe and hey, I lost the word.

Yeah, I know what you mean. That can get a little off-putting, but the fun part is giving them a little bit of a new perspective on life. If you work on them hard enough. XD

Oh yes! I'm very fond of Something*Positive~ I haven't continued reading it for awhile, because I have this horrible habit of reading long webcomics at one shot, then I return several months later... I love how it's so close to reality, yet as wonderful to read like many fantasty comics. 8D

For those of you who are caught up with the most recent story:
Oh my god. I'm with Mike on this one. Wil-Wheaton... gonk He's supposed to be the draw-in for girls to watch Star Trek and I, as a GIRL hate him... Poor kid.
And... OMG. xD Hell house indeed...

Something Positive did a mini cameo for my comic once (and linked me twice)... I want to make a list of comics that have cameoed mine, but now I can't find that page, and his archives are enormous. gonk
If anyone happens to be planning on reading the archives, can you keep an eye out for it for me? Basically a couple of the characters are at a convention and complaining about furries. There's booths, and one of them says WE HAVE EVILISH AND RPG WORLD ACTION FIGURES.

I was just scanning the threads and had I not found this, I would have done the honors.
Warms my cynicism to know others read S*P.

I love how Davan is disillusioned about everything..... including being disillusioned.

All I have to say is someone please warn me before I try to marathon my way through a webcomic with archives as extensive as S*P. He's updated almost everyday for over 6 years now. I feel kinda pathetic, but I did the bulk of the reading over the span of 4-5 days and it was a wee bit all-consuming. Umm...yay for a month long winter break! Worth it though.
Kudos to PhilosophyMind for the S*P name drop in another thread that got me started.

Oh goodness, S*P archives are a major time killer! xp I went through half a year where I stopped reading S*P, but when I took it back up I decided it would be a good idea to read through the archives. Took me a while to catch up to the storyline at that time, needless to say. Now it's my homepage so I'm always up to speed on the most recent comic!
