You can break this sentence down (* being AND, + being OR) to the algerbraic equation:

((F * N) * (G + T)) + (M * N) + B = PC



The light bulb is lit when you have "the perfect cat." Make sense?

We can also take the classic Logic problem:

All men are mortal

Socrates is a man

Therefore, Socrates is mortal

Broken down into:

Me * Mo = Me

S * Me = S

S * Me = Mo

Can be repesent by this light switch:

I know, but it was aplying logic to those switches and what not. I'm glad someone understands it. Yay for Sachi!

Anyway. The first one is a requirements problem.

*Female, netured, and (gray or tan)
*Male and netured
*Black

If you fill just one of these requirements, the lightbulb will turn on (F for female, M for male, G for grey, T for tan, N for netured, and B for black. Whenever a cat is male or neutered of tan or whatever, the atrribute switch labled closes. Hope that makes sense. Also, when you use * as AND, and + as OR you can simplfy the requirements into Logic Algerbra. When you use *, that means it must be both, or all of the attributes said. When you use +, that means either or, not both the attributes.
So we simplify it to: ((F * N) * (G + T)) + (M * N) + B = Wanted Cat

I'll explain the Classic Logic Problem later.
