Abayomi let out a spastic laugh, which he promptly put his paws over his muzzle for, and gazed out off of the giant boulder he'd propped himself on top of. Somehow. Recently the land had been looking a lot more barren and he wanted to find some way to cheer up those that he'd met and those that he'd never met.
How that was possible he didn't know. It was just an idea of something that he wanted to do, that his heart told him was possible to do.
The hyena let his head hang for a moment before something inside of him picked it back up and he pricked his ears forward. There had to be something.

A dusty black female hyena let out a long slow laugh that slowly died as she walked around a boulder and spotted the other hyena and a slow mischievous smile swept across her maw. A new creature to recruit, and another adult.
She was so used to seeing pups and younger that it was good to see a more adult audience. A whooping laugh escaped her and she bowed her head in a sort of salute, hoping that he would spot her. Lamyae was an odd leader assertive and in the same instant a coward. She was unsure what to do with another hyena. Mafa had been very cruel, and Erevu equally cruel with the same idea as herself... what if the new hyena was just as cruel.
"If they are all cruel, I will never surive," she whispered thinking of the few children she had seen that were kind and uncorrupt. Her soul ached from the thought and confusion threatened to take over, but now was not the time for such thoughts there was an adult to deal with, her head lifted back up to the other.

One large ear flicked in the direction of the other much larger female and Aba laughed in response to hers. It was a high pitched cackle that made other creatures fear hyenas, but to another hyena it was a call of welcome. His chocolate eyes danced in happiness, though indecision fluttered in his stomach.
If this female was like the others that he'd met then he would have a few problems. He didn't exactly like the fact that he could be ripped to shreds by this female, who in their sane mind would like that?
"My dark cousin, what brings you out here in a place so bright? One such as yourself should trail with the stars." He asked politely, his misty voice trailing through the air. ninja

The alpha female bowed deeply, certain that tis male would be no threat to her. She was told to assert herself as the alpha and superior first, but she thought him an equal. His eerie call made a shiver fall across her spine and her mind tingle. she was not one for such laughter, it scared her like most creatures...hyenas scared her like most creatures.
"Cousin? Are we not brother and sister? Amongst the stars, do you fear the light?" Ahh, it would be easy to go into one of her rants with this one; he almost started the conversation himself.
She twitched her ear spastically as she started her graceful walk towards the other male, she had a terrible case od ear mites that were not going to go away on their own, she probably needed the help of a bird..but a bath couldn't hurt.
"I am Lamyae, voice of god," her blunt, too proud statement of the evening.

"Aaah. Cousins, but not brother and sister. How could one such as I be that closely related with you my cousin?" Aba said in his soft voice.
Standing he trotted down off of the rock, his black shoulders rolled as he walked slowly over towards her. One of his ears pricked forward and one laid back softly as he sniffed at her. Abayomi could smell the bugs on her, not sure where they were. He didn't have any on himself, so as long as he didn't go banging his body to hers he figured he would be fine.
"So, the voice of a god eh? What is the god saying now?" He wasn't mocking her, he wanted to know if there was some hope for his quest and was willing to try any way possible. ninja

"All hyenas are brother and sister, we are of the same race, and usually al of the same cause. I preach peace, my brother, do not fear that I am violent," she giggled slightly trying to show she was nothing to be feared.
"She has been extremely quiet, brother," for a moment she paused thinking about this new creature. If the goddess did have a message to pass on surely it would have come, wouldn't it?
Ask and you shall recieve, ask him of her quest, the voice was a rumble from within and barely anything at all.
"What of your quest?" Lamyae asked uneasily she had never acknowledge her gift like this infront of another. What if the voice was playing with her, asking her to say things that would be terrible inapropriate. "I do home, I am not over stepping..."

"Heh, then sister. If you want to call me that I suppose I should call you sister." Aba said as he sat down before her and nodded. "The thoughts in a mind should be quiet unless they have valid reason to speak."
Abayomi stared at the larger black female for a long time before he lifted his other ear and leaned his head gently to the side. She seemed to know quite a bit since he'd never even mentioned his quest.
"My quest? You mean.. the one to make everyone smile? That one?" Aba leaned his head softly to the other side and thumped his tail against the ground idly. "You're not overstepping. Don't worry. I just don't get asked about my quest very often because not many care to know." ninja

"Yes, I am a sister fo sorts," she nodded warmly looking him over. She was unsure what to say next, and that unsureity would surely cost her, her right to be the alpha female some day.
"Make people smile? You would fit in perfectly with my people, I am the Alpha of our Movement, the Mwangaza," no need to beat around the bust tell it to him straight. She wanted to giggle loudly at the thought, she was not always so forward, not always so blunt, "There are not many adults I'm afraid just many scared lonley children."

"Mwangaza? That sounds rather pleasant. There shouldn't be scared children, especially since they carry the roles of the world." Abayomi said in a fairly stern voice. He disliked hearing about heartache and pain, though he knew very well that it spread around the world.
"Well, my sister, if you need another adult that could ease the hearts of children then I would glady join with you." He said smoothly. A pack sounded good, anything sounded good. A movement that he would fit into would breed happiness in his heart, that thought itself made him happy.
For once in his life he wouldn't be alone. ninja

Her heart practically flew out of her chest, getting him to join and accept was far too easy! She had to fight the little ones brainwashed by Mafa to join, but him? He merely said yes! She could hear nothing in her mind but the pounding of her heart as he said that children carry the role of the world. Had her goddess already touched this one? Or was she simply imagining it all?
"You w--w-ill join?"
She fell silent in thought.
(Crap.. but I can't think of how to respond, for now.)

"But of course. Your pack sounds welcoming and I'd glady help pups in need." Abayomi said with a smile, scratching behind his ear with one of his hind paws. "What are children but the legacy of the older? If we can't brush off our beliefs or at least or knowledge on the younger ones, then what can we do?"
Smiling at her, Aba waited for her to respond, his eyes closed and his ears relaxed. Everything about him screamed relaxation, it was better to be relaxed before the alpha of a new pack that he meant to join. That was what got him so far in his life, was being so laid back. ninja

His laid back nature put Lamyae at ease, her dusty eyes searching slightly, but other than that she made him feel like he was at home, "I am happy that you will join the Movement, the Goddess smiles upon you, and any of your kin."
She twitched her ears from side to side happily, the second adult to join her pack, and hopefully the second of many. "May I ask you to preach to others, go out into the world for some time and ask others to join us? Do you have a mate, children?"

Smiling softly, Aba nodded his head a little and flicked both ears in her direction. "I could do that, I live with the wind as it is."
Sniffing up at it, he grinned, for some reason this was all meant to be. Aside from Peni this was the first of any female to talk to him as if he mattered at all. The spirits, or this girl's goddess, must have lead him here on purpose. "I do have a mate, though her pups are not mine. One pup is gone, but the other two... there's at least a possibility, though I could be wrong. I'll talk to her about it when I see her again." That aws his promise, simple but at least it was one. ninja

(Sorry, I lost a link for a bit)
She gave him a soft cackle and grinned, "Pups are our future, it'd be wise to ask your mate." She shook her head from side to side to stop the itching in her ear, "I think it is time for me to leave, the goddess works in myterious ways, preach out way of life, love one another, even the lions; and children are our future. The goddess will be with you, if you help her cause."
Lamyae started in another direction her tail wagging slightly, she'd never been able to impress an adult before, and if she had not made an impression? Well, she was sure she had.
