i have swords on sale in my shop just bid on them and then look like itachi when he killed his clan but i still dont get why someone tell me why he did it

yea and the only reason he left sasuke alive out of everybody i guess because he feels that sasuke would become competition to him but he's not cause itachi is too good

Personally I think Itachi killed his clan and left sasuke alive because he wasn't worth killing... but that may be baisied because I think Sasuke is given alot of favoritism... but yeah
I heard he did it because he wanted a certain type of sharigan that I can't spell

@imogen: Only in the images he implanted in Sasuke's mind. In the episode that showed the real flashback, Sasuke opened the doors to discover that his parents were already dead.
When I get the chance, I'm going to re-watch all of these episodes. And also, I never read/saw these manga chapters, so I could be totally wrong.

So there really is no real evidence that he killed his clan... I think it's better to think that he actually did do it.
