If no one rembers it, that is sad. I'm gonna go get the review of it and past it. here.
Personally i loved this show, i used to watch it with my sister all the time when we were younger. Then we moved and it didn't air on the cable we first go here in kansas, and well then the show just disappeared from our lives. it is depressing really. Kinda like when we lost the gummi bears and Dinousaurs.

the Plot: off of wikipedia(there aren't a lot of sites on this subject-which is sad.)
Ocean Girl is the story of a girl named Neri who lives alone on an island. As explained by the show, she had travelled to the planet Earth on a spaceship with her father when she was young. Her father died of an unspecified sickness soon after. Neri then held his responsibility of protecting the Earth's oceans. A humpback whale (who she names Jali and later Charley) had saved Neri after she fell off a cliff, and they became friends soon after.
Most of the other main characters live on and work for a fictional underwater research and environmental protection facility and organization called ORCA(Oceanic Research Centre of Australia), located off the coast of Australia. This organization is one of the major focuses of the story. Nearly every episode involves the underwater research facility. The main characters on the station are:

I.. vaguely remember this show. I think I used to put my barbies in the pool and pretend I was Neri and ... her little sister? I can't remember it but I have somewhat of an idea what you're talking about.

I loved the storyline of this show. It was kinda hard to watch at times because the humor was different - I think it was filmed in New Zealand or something. I especially liked how she would swim w/her friend whale.
Didn't they show this as a mini series w/The New Mickey Mouse Club?

I HATE how Disney does that. They stop running a show, and BOOM! Good luck on ever seeing it again. Can't there be a day when they play the old shows? Or a week? I'm sure everyone thinks that. The old-old shows were so good!
