I just had to create this thread because this has to be one of the best shows on Adult Swim. It's right up there with The Venture Bros.

I love Metalocalypse. Evey time I watch it, though, I wonder if metalheads watch it and/or like it?
I think it's hilarious, but I wonder if people who listen to death metal would think it's funny.

Dethkomedy was mediocre... god, only a couple episodes out and they already have a dud. Hopefully Dethfam will be better.

I listent to death metal... German death metal makes me laugh.. But no, seriously though, when I first saw an episode on one of the rare occasions that I get to I was shocked.
I thought it was a joke just like when I first saw Peewee Play House, Saved by the Bell, and the Chuck Norris cartoon randomly on AS.
I thought it was funny smile

Shonsu hell yeah, everyone watches it. Its one of the top rated shows on adult swim Phew! That's good to know. I don't really pay attention when ratings are published or when [adult swim] shows their ratings on the bumps. So, I had no idea.

I think it's hilarious, but I wonder if people who listen to death metal would think it's funny. Yes, they do. I love metal music, and I think Metalocalypse is hilarious. The show makes fun of metal music, but it's also like a tribute to it. The creator is a huge metal fan. Lots of musicians have done voices on the show, and there are a ton of references that only metalheads would get. (Such as the Finntrolls supermarket, and Dimmu Burger.) I love Metalocalypse! Can't wait for the second season.

i'm a big metal head and i absolutely LOVE this show. it has quickly become my favorite, right there with family guy. i love seeing all the different ways people die and it is so awesome that they hold nothing back. i also really love the music even though this is one of the only bands that i can't understand lol
