Those little gold counters are really annoying. It makes me feel stalked. gonk And I guess I'm so stupid I can't figure out how much gold I'm making on my own. It's not that hard you just watch the total. stare There so pointless. I can't believe gaia is working on something like that and not something else.

I'm just annoyed at the system in general. I mean, sure, you get 32 gold for your first post of the day, but then it just dwindles down to nothing. I'm now getting 1-2 gold for every post and vote. neutral

And ya, that little, "Congrats! You just got 1 GOLD!" thing is annoying. whee

I know, I've made barely 300 gold today when, on the old system, I probably posted enough to make at least twice that.

Actually, the thing scares me, and I hate the fact that it gives you so little gold.

The only reason it scares me is because it makes me feel stalked. And the big orange yellow G thing doesn't help make it less scary either. sweatdrop

Well if it's to fix the economy then they are not doing a very good job.

The rich won't get richer sure, but the poor defintly arn't making gold either. So everyones just staying the same. 3nodding And everytime a new person signs up for gaia, inflation drives the price of the donation items up, so now no one can get gold to afford them really. It's also going to send the prices up because the people that are selling them can't make as much gold so if they raise the price of it it they can make it quicker. And once people can't afford them the prices will go up again, because with less people buying less people get gold, and the less gold that people have the less they can afford of new donation items. Really the rich people are what kept the prices down, since when people sold the donation items that was a quick way for them to make gold. So if anything they might have just killed the economy more. But I suppose if less people buy the more expensive items the old donation items will level out to a set price, since less people will want them and go for the newer ones instead. It's really actually quite complicated, as it could go a few different ways from there. Just I wouldn't recomended getting into the economy now since it's going through ups and downs right now.

Some gaian economy information. xd The only way you could fix the economy system was either to set price limits on items and then release more of them. Mostly the donation items are what is expensive. Or to give out more gold to balance the system more. neutral I don't see many other ways
