Normally I don't mind when the admins change stuff. It is a free site after all. BUT taking away the polls is way to much! It's like a kick in the face to all the poll whores out there; me included! Ever since I joined Gaia in 2004, polling has been my only means of income on this site besides sending in my cash for letters to sell. Polling helped me finish all my crazy expensive quests and was the only thing that has kept my charity alive these past two years. Without it, I won't be able to support my charity. I know the admins are trying to make Gaia better "for everyone" but a majority of people on Gaia are poll whores and depend on the polls to get gold for their quests! What the heck were the admins thinking!!!!
So anyway. Enough of my venting. ^^; Is anyone else outragged by this? What do you think about the admins "fixing" the polls.
If you hate this as much as I do, go here. It's a petition in MLP to get the admins to change the polls back to the way they were. =3

personally i think the whole posting/polling for money thing is messed up, and just generates tons of pointless posts. maybe they should just have one forums where it's possible to get money from posting/polling, and keep the rest for normal conversations, etc. although the chatterbox does help keep the pointless stuff in one area

I hate that the polls don't give you gold anymore... It was one of my ways of earning gold...now it's just a memory....sorta.

um...what? You didn't always get gold from a poll. Like, if you were poll whoring and you did like 3 polls really fast back to back you didn't get 30 gold.
