Let's face it, there are some Disney movies, and not just sequels, that were just bad ideas.
Take The Haunted Mansion for example. It could have been fantasic, but somewhere along the lines they decided to make it a romp thought the mansion with Eddie Murphy at the wheel. The movie's only redeming feature was Jennifer Tilly as Madam Leota.
What is the worst, or just plain bad, Disney movie?

I hated Chicken Little. For one thing, I felt it was relying too much on humor, but what bugged me the most was that it was a sci-fi plot. One of the reasons why I love Disney movies is because of the magic and fantasy, not the space aliens =/

I thought the Black Caldron (I can't spell sorry xD). but even worse is...
The Lizzie Maguire Movie that was awful. I was FORCED to watch it (and sing along crying ). For one...I don't like Lizzie Maguire (or Hilary Duff). secdonly the plot was SOOOOO predictable. right away i knew the guy was the one who really lipsynced... I never saw the Haunted Mansion...it didn't look to good... they kinda made fun of it (and PoC) on Mad TV with a fake preview for a "Small World" movie starinng Dakota Fanning, Clay Aiken, Ellen Degeneres, Eddie Murphy and Johnny Depp xD Clay got killed by the dolls.

Want to torture me? Make me watch Mulan 2.
Now mind you Mulan is one of my favorite movies ever when it comes to animation. Here you have a story about war and family. A strong, beautiful, strong willed woman kicking butt.
But in Mulan 2 everything that made Mulan 1 awesome gets thrown off the window. And what really bugged me was "I want to be like every other girl". Excuse me?! Did these three forgot to watch Mulan 1 or something?!
A woman was a woman princess or not. Even as "normal" they would be stilled "dolled up" and forced to marry. Why? "Because men help by bearing arms and women help by bearing sons" It's their role in that society. The fact that they forget that gender role underminds what Mulan did. It wasn't something a normal woman would do, it was something an extrordinary woman had to do.

I didn't really care for Home on the Range. It just didn't click with me. I think George of the Jungle 2 was a bad movie. The first one was pretty good, but the second one was just awful. Tron wasn't anything great either.

camerina I think that Dumbo was a bad movie... imagine it... those pink elephant can scare little kids easily. I'm surrounded by idiots~
surprised eek I LOVE the pink elephants part! heart whee Mmm... bad Disney movie? Not sure... I think I've been avoiding newer Disney movies like the plague... One recent movie I don't think I cared for that much was The Incredibles"... I dunno why... it just wasn't a great movie that I wanted to watch over and over... The villain in that wasn't really... on par with other villains of movies that I like... confused I'll need some more time to think about which Disney movies were bad... whee

I loved the Goofy Movies to Ariel, you aren't alone. mrgreen
I actually liked The Incredibles more than I thought I would. Same with Cars.
Chicken Little sucked. Home on the Range, really sucked.
I don't expect much from Disney Chanel movies, but I agree that The Cheetah Girls REALLY sucked.

Yeah I was watching that thinking, "These girls are supposed to be from ancient China, not from like...present day." That's what annoyed me about that movie. Women back then didn't get to choose to be different. They had to do what men wanted them to. sweatdrop
Honestly...I don't like the Nightmare Before Christmas. sweatdrop Don't flame me! crying
I didn't care to see the Haunted Mansion because it looked retarded, and Chicken Little didn't look interesting.
I got bored watching the Black Cauldron and left to do something else. sweatdrop

The one was good (Brendan Frasier is my hunk heart ) and it was sweet and fun. The second one was just too stupid.

I'm glad I'm not alone in loving the Goofy movies. 4laugh actually, the song in my myspace right now is Stand Out. -is a nerd- anyway, yeah I actually really liked the Incredibles. a lot more than I thought I would. I could watch it...mm, maybe three times in a row. so not so great, compared to others that I could watch repeatedly until I died.

There was actually only 1 Disney sequel that was given higher than a C on my grading scale, and that would be "The Lion King 2". I'm totally against the Disney sequels, but aside from those, I have to admit there were a few...mm..flops.
Let's just get this straight: I don't like most of the new Disney movies. Excluding Cars, Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, and maybe a few I've missed, I doubt I like any of the newer ones. I wasn't even motivated to see Home On The Range or Chicken Little, so that says a lot about the general story line of advertisement, to me.
Aside from both of those categories (Recent and Sequels), there are still some that aren't exactly my favorite. -Alice In Wonderland -The Jungle Book and, tragic as it seems, -The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
Alice In Wonderland just...well, the myth that the creaters were on drugs is pretty much an excuse I'm willing to believe. The Jungle Book was just, not so wonderful compared to The Little Mermaid, or The Lion King. And for HND, I like the music and everything, but it never really hooked me. -.- Sorry! =]
