This time around, this place will be a little bit more organized.
Branching off from the main guild hall, the sanctuary of the Philosopher of Cheesy Wisdom/ Legendary Cheese Knight can be found in a rather large and open room.

Thanks to the wonder known as the vacuum, and a bottle of Febreeze, Spooty's room always has a calm and refreshing air about it.

There isn't much furniture in the room but he doesn't mind. The dresser is a simple 5 drawer design, and all of Spooty's extra stuff has been put away into it, with the exception of the letters he owns, which have their own slot on the side of the dresser.

The bed is a sturdy frame of fine oak wood, with the bedpost tops carved into penguins. The matress is a comfortable futon that readily converts into a couch for guests to sit on. The sheets and bedspread add a hint to what Spooty's interests are, being that the sheets are printed with wedges of assorted cheese on a white background. The bedspread is a blue background with penguins and snow printed all over it. It is dissapointing to some, however, that the pillowcase is just plain white.

Above the bed is a towel rack, which upon it hangs a large towel, printed with (you guessed it! Or maybe you didn't.) A large penguin nibbling on a wedge of cheese. This towel is reserved solely for the occasion where Spooty may leave the planet and travel throughout the Universe.

The ceiling is painted in the color of the night sky, a very dark shade of blue. Also, there are little stars painted randomly along the ceiling, just because Spooty likes Astronomy.

Since he has a fondness for snow, all the windows are displayed to give off an apperance that it is snowing outside. And when you enter the room, you'll always find peaceful music playing, which reflects the serene and snowy atmosphere he loves. "The Mines of Narshe" (FFVI) and "White the Heart" (Star Ocean 2) are two of his favorites.

And what better way to enjoy the serenity than to have a large library. In a seperate annex, Spooty houses the largest library the guild has, although his manga selection is smaller than some others.

The last part of his room is a underground hall of statues. There are statues of nearly every female member of the Cheese Guild except for one of the leader. That isn't necessary because Spooty is the caretaker of Silent Shadow Flame's robotic clone. Visitors are welcome to view the collection.

Spooty collapsed on his fluffy bed, worn from a week's worth of exhaustion. To him, it was like traveling through the desert and stopping at an oasis at regular intervals. But he felt just a little sad because he was riding through the desert, but not on a horse with no name.

He listened closely to see if there was any commotion from the main hall nearby, but it was quiet at the moment. In a way, he kind of missed the constant noise that made the place home.

Shifting himself into the covers, Spooty sat in bed and rested for a little while, at least until something happened.

"Gah, I definitely need an alarm clock."

Spooty stretched and climbed out of bed, he had overslept. But it was excusable, because of another late night. His dreams were...nonexistant. He hardly thought about anything in his sleep. Except for stumbling upon money every once in a while.

He noticed his stomach growling and exited his room to find the cafeteria.

After a filling meal, Spooty came back to his room and got out some writing material.

His bed was the perfect place to plop down and begin writing. The gentle sounds of a pen gliding on a clean sheet of paper was the only sound that could be heard in the room. (Is actually going to try writing something, even if it will never be complete or have substance)

Untitled (For now)

His tears fell as slowly as the snowflakes did outside the window, now fogged up from the moisture in his breath. He clutched the photo against his chest, nearly crumpling it in his tense and shaky fists. It was too much, too soon.

"Why?" he asked himself, over and over again. "Why has fate dealt me such a hand that of which I am forced to fold with?"

His head banged against the window in frustration, knocking down the snow above, and making his head ache with each dull thud.

Lonely. It didn't begin to describe how he felt. He felt empty inside, like a part of him was missing. That one girl he cared for, had left him in the cold.

Yes, it was true. He had forgot to pick up the milk while he was at the store, and somebody else had to go get it.

Silent wandered in, slipping beneath the door as a dark, wavy mist. She hadn't been seen for a while, since disappearing from a place far from here... but she had returned for now.

She materialized with a mug between both hands, holding it carefully. A few steps were taken softly, as to not disturb what lay in the room, and the mug was set down on the closest hard surface. A note was taped to it.

"Anything within this mug shall either never cool off or warm up. It takes the colour of the temperature of what you put in it, so you don't get surprised, or, it takes the colour of your mood. It's whichever you choose."

Eyes wide with curiousity, Spooty stared at the odd mug from his bed, feeling a bit too lazy to get up.

"How well does it hold rootbeer?"

Many months later...

"ka-ching!"

In one corner of the room, a pile of gold grew bigger and bigger. No less than 182k gold pieces sat in a pile almost reaching to the ceiling.

As Spooty threw more gold onto the pile, he wondered to himself, "Who the hell would carry all this in exchange for a scarf?"

July 6th, 2006.

Spooty stared up at the case which held the robotic clone of the guild's "leader".

As lifelike as it was, it was broken, and nobody knew how to repair it. Useless it stood, a statue like the rest that crowded the hall.

The real person the robot was based on... had hastily spirited herself away, choosing to follow her own path and leave those who had looked upon her with admiration, puzzled and undevoted.

There was much scorn in store for those who tried to follow her. Harsh words, meant to decieve so that she may continue on unhindered. Few could call it selfish, simply out of nostalgia and respect.

A press of a button opened up the museum case to the world outside.

Spooty took the purple flower he was holding, and placed it in the cupped hands at the waist of the stone cold figure.

"..."

Sunlight streamed in from the slits at the top of each wall.
