Well... I guess most of us know the movies and OVAs - not talking about the AnimeSeries here...
In my opinion the movies/OVAs that deald with Lina & Naga were the best... SLAYERS PREMIUM was quite... Pointless. Okay. Most SLAYERS movies have no greater sense or message... But PREMIUM... Well. As much as I like Zelu, Xellos and Gourry... And their character design in PREMIUM... But the movie... Nya. Nope sweatdrop I prefer watrching the movies with Naga... Somehow they're funnier and all... *shrug*
What about you? Your opinions about the movies?

I really enjoyed the OVAs as well; especially the episode Mirror Mirror. Naga was such a great foil for Lina that those two alone provided enough strength of character to tide it over without being overly so, although Naga's laugh had a habit of grating on my ears *shudders*
Of the movies, the only one that I've actually seen was Premium, and I was...disapointed, to say the least. It was really weak plot wise, and it didn't make enough sense to stand alone at all. Plus Gourry looked incredibly scrawny in it xp

i enjoyed slayers premium other than the fact it was only 30 min long and a good portion of the movie was just the charictors meeting up. the animation was great however with the crisp clean style and textures.
as the OVAs go i loved the episode "Jeffrys Knight Hood" although the slayers excellent ovas were very strange with the strange consepts( gay men, nagas takeing over the world)

Slayers Premium would've done better with a little editing & stuck in the middle of Slayers Next. I like the original Slayers movie, especially when Naga busts the fake hot springs. Sort of sad that she wore more in that scene than she usually does. All in all, the original movie is a good standby for me.

Well, the only Slayers movie I've watched is the one with Lina, Naga, and the cool frog guy! biggrin I really liked it!

I guess one of my favorites is GEORGEOUS... This wannabe-evil girl that attacks her hometown because her father refuses to give her more pocket money XP - The story is SO typical SLAYERS... Just remember the reactions of the dragon army when they heard Linas name...

I haven't seen the movies yet*makes note to do that soon*,but the oVAs are REALLY funny.Out of the 3 I've seen,Jeffrey's Knighthood was my favorite XD.I didn't care for 'the scary chimera plan',though.It wasn't all that funny.And all those Nagas laughing at once.. gonk *shudders* Scary.

Slayers PREMIUM was pointless.. xp actually I was a little down after watching that... domokun but I also love the movies with naga and lina x3333;;; I especially like the OVA with the naga clones xd jajajaja that was great!

Thinks about the ovies and oav. then thinks about naga and proceads to beat head into a wall.
"Suprising my head hurt befor i did that. it was amusing yes. i will give it that but some of those scenes relly scared me. and i hate the dubbing for premium. I saw it out on dvd and i was so happy but they cut out the origional opening and then they go and get crispen freemen back but noone else. and he was the bad one. oh well atleast they were smart enough not to bring david moo back.
*pokes a set of three voodoo dolls and hopes it works.*
that and i think though i dont like naga. she should have gotten more than a camio. then it would have been like the games. I still need to find a modchip for my sega saturn so i can play royal one and two.

The first Slayers movie I saw was Slayers: The Motion Picture and I saw it.... dubbed. I think that kind of effected my impression of all of the movies. Lina and Naga don't really interest me, so I haven't seen any of the other movies or OVAs with them. sweatdrop I've seen a fansub of Premium, though. (It was missing a few scenes) really didn't like it... I got the distinct impression that they were bashing Amelia. o_O The manga version seems a lot better, though. So I'm looking forward to it coming out in English in January.

The only OVA/movie I haven't seen is PREMIUM. ^^;
I don't remember which was which, either. O.o it was so long ago..
I DO remember the scene where Naga busts the fake hot spring, though. That was great. ^^

I haven't seen the OVAS yet. e.e;; I did read the manga version of Premiuim, and actually from what I've heard of the anime version, it's much better. It doesn't seem to bash Amelia as much...and everyone looks NORMAL. Not like in the anime. Poor Zel does look like he has eyeliner or mascara crying ....and his hair is messier than usual. And something about Gourry's design rubs me the wrong way........
But I did think the Octopi were cute :3 and Naga's little cameo was amusing too. 3nodding

not sure if its a oav or movie but my favorite one is where the thing they're fighting and nagas summon falls in love XD it was so darned funny!
