Every guild has 'em.
Every guild has 'em.
1. Respect. All I ask is that we just be nice to each other. There's nothing worse than being upset with your fandom after someone has gotten in a stupid fight. Don't fight, especially over trivial things like manga and anime! D: Being rude gets you nowhere.
2. Literacy. Not really a rule, but can we at least try to be literate? Grammar and spelling may seem trivial to you, but when you neglect the rules of the English language, people tend to label you as stupid or illiterate. Just a thought. Also, please do not ridicule people regarding their spelling or grammar, no matter how abysmal it may be.
3. Abide by the Gaian Terms of Service. This rule shouldn't be especially hard to follow, considering you agreed to follow these when you joined Gaia. Remember not to post anything too inappropriate or overtly offensive in nature.
4. Spoilers. Not everyone is at the same point in the manga/anime as you are! So take them into consideration when you post, unless you're in the manga/anime discussion stickies. When writing about a spoiler in one of the normal threads, please use the following format:
>>SPOILERS GO HERE!!<<
5. The mods/captain. Don't bother me or the mods unless there is a problem. As for what constitutes as a problem, use common sense! Do not ask to become a mod, because this decreases your chance of actually becoming a mod. Don't ask why your join request might be declined, but you probably didn't read these rules if your request was declined. :<
If you have a question not mentioned in this thread, however, feel free to PM me!
6. Bashing. NO. DON'T DO IT. There is a difference between saying you dislike a character and bashing a character! While you are allowed to express your opinion, you are not allowed to say things like, "Omg, so-and-so is such a filthy whore, I hate her, she should burn!"
Likewise, don't start fights with people just because they state a dislike for a certain character.
7. Spamming. Don't make posts if they're just a few words or consist only of smilies. If you want to up your post count, think of of something interesting to say. If you just want to accumulate gold, then please do so in another guild.
To prove that you've read these rules, please put "Give me back my innocence!" in your request to join!
