Thankyou!
heart An FFVI trivia contest sounds great. Especially if you want to provide the prize
ninja We'd probably have to go through the questions all together... to figure out their difficulty, at least.
Do you think we should have tiered contests? As in, a first open-to-everyone contest, which has winners chosen (perhaps the top five or so), which have another contest held consisting of only them, which goes until the final contest in which there is only one winner?
How well do you think that might work?
The monthly contest idea sounds do-able, and since I have a mass-PM function, lack of submissions shouldn't be much of a problem... I hope
sweatdrop Hoyes; I think that a "guild newsletter" might be just the thing to kickstart the guild... that and things to put in it
xd More than willing to help! And if you want examples of what I'm capable of as far as art, the red banner in my sig leads to my art quest, and I drew all the ref pics there.
Tierd contests sound like a good idea, but maybe that should wait until we've got more activity and can ensure a goodly number of participants.
Maybe some sort of fanfic contest? As in, we come up with a plot bunny and ask for short fics resolving it. Points for characterization, spelling and grammer, and general creativity.
Or how about a song parody contest? Rewrite an existing song using lyrics related to FFVI. If this gets too constrictive, make it for all FF games.
Speaking of which, a sub for the other FF games sounds awesome. They do all sort of feed into each other, don't they? Like the six degrees of Black Mage or something.
*idea* How about that? Pick two FF things and connect them in six steps or less. For instance, say, ProCape (FFI) and Interceptor (FFVI). Points for the least steps and for creativity.
Phydur--Q&A sounds good to me. Maybe that can run contests, too. "Stump The Crew!" If we can't answer your question, you get something. *shrug* Just a thought. Donation letters are awesome prizes, but they're pricy... I'm paying for tuition too. Maybe just offer the gold? Make the prize higher for tougher contests. Or give them a choice, as in they can pick a given amount of gold or art from any of us.
