With sparkling stars painted upon the background, the night created the usual feeling of silence and suspense when darkness fell...

A girl of the age sixteen took advantage of the peaceful atmosphere as she alone sauntered down a path that leaded to a magnificent forest. The way was bordered with delicate, colorful flowers one would think could only be witnessed in a dream. Her laid-back behavior was shown in the slow steps she took as she walked on blissfully.

Out of nowhere, the comfort of her surroundings completely changed. A harsh breeze whipped about, making her shiver involuntarily. She paused, suddenly becoming aware, her sapphire eyes looking from here to there for signs of something that might've caused this abrupt transformation. Nothing interesting caught her gaze, so she dismissed the subject and wrapped her pink salmon-colored, silk cloak closer for warmth, but the unusual chilly winds carried on.

As she reached the entrance of the familiar forest, she smiled and admired nature's beauty like she normally did. Reaching into her matching bag for her snack munchies, she went a tad further into the trees before coming upon a huge boulder. She brushed the dirt off the gray mass and sat down. Half way of her midnight snacking, the air became even more cold than earlier.

Sweeping her flying hair back, she glanced up in the sky and wondered why it was acting this bizarre today. In an instant, she caught sight of a black feather drifting gently in her from above, the Heaven's direction. She gave a gasp of awe as she stared at the gorgeous violet rose that was seemingly attached to it. Though shocked and hesitant, she lifted her right hand to capture the feather; it softly landed in her palm with ease.

A closer look revealed that the feather was shimmering like the stars. The purple rose was indeed real, and it held an odd, magical auora. "Wh-what is this?" Kay whispered, her heart skipping a beat.

And then, the bellowing, excited winds had come to a halting stop, leaving the air ordinarily warm.
