I don't know how many people have read the books, Interview With a Vampire, The Vampire Lesatat, and the other vampire chronicles books, but I must say if you haven't, READ THEM! Anne Rice is by far my favorite author. Which brings me to the Vampire Lestat Broadway! Well, it turned out it was sort of a biff in show bizz. . . But I'd love to get the soundtrack when it comes out. (If it ever does, hopefully!) Here's a clip of the play, and one of my favorite songs: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w-HEMyZ10u0 heart heart heart Ther only thing about the play is it seems too happy. xD xD But I love broadways and musicals.

I'm sorry to say that I have read some of the Vampire Chronicles.
I never thought that gay vampires could be so boring. D:

I have read Interview with the Vampire, and only that. It wasn't bad, but I have since passed on all of the others, and will probably continue to.

I think I actually saw the movie with, who was it? Brad pitt & Tom Cruise maybe? Wasn't Kirsten Dunst in that movie somewhere? Gee Mistress, it's so cool you can read stuff like that. I don't know where to look for it and even if I did, I don't have any money to spend on them, he-he.

I have only read Interview with the Vampire and I honestly didn't like it that much... I always thought really gay-sounding vampires would be interesting but I guess not. >.>;;

Oh! You guys are so disappointing! Although, I do admit Interview With a Vampire wasn't my favorite of her books, The Vampire Lestat was a wonderful book and Queen of the Damned too. . . ^_^ But I suppose it has to do with everybody's likings. ^_^

(Where I bought The Vamp Lestat, and a couple dollars for shipping.) ^_^ Yes, the movie was good but the movie "Queen of the Damned," A bit newer, is way good too.

Or you could always download it for free in one of the millions of fansites. I've never been too fond of Anne rice. If I were to make a horrible biggotory comment I'd have to say not only must you love vampires, I think it's a white person thing.... Like westerns. But luckily I'm too mature to say something like that, bwahahaha*cough* Just kidding. My sis likes anne rice. And if their is one thing she's not, it's caucasion.
Either way that broadway musical... Looks terrible. Admittedly I'm not a musical fan, but even so, I never quite imagined Lestat as the musical type. Like a vampire hunter D musical, some things perhaps just shouldn't be.

Maybe it's a white girl thing, atleast to me. ^_^; But yes, I do agree that the broadway isn't the best in the world (Atleast comparing to favs like PotO and Wicked) but I relate to it so much because I adored the books so much. ^.^ As for gay vampires, that's definately a girl thing. (Although in truth I only prefer very mild yaoi, etc. and that's it.) Most guys don't like that stuff. But when it comes down to it, the vampire stories were the vampy guy falls in love with the human girl are always my favorite. xD *heart*, haha.

The only book I really found extreme and bizarre was the Vampire Armand. It was rather. . . ah. . . too much for me. xD (Even so, Armand was charming.)

Hey, isn't "Queen of the Damned" the name of Alleeya's (I can't spell her name right) last movie before she died in that plane crash? I think I saw that one. Can't remember much about it though...

chippbogard l'estat is on bbroadway being played by a hideous man. but i read the two books that most people read. I agree that they could have dyed his hair a decent blond color instead of that hideous brown. . . xP I didn't think the actor was bad, he has a really good voice, but they needed to be more creative with his appearance.
