I absolutely love the fact that while NewS is on a hiatus that some of them are going to University. Hot and smart is a wonderful combination! heart
Oh and the first time I saw him, I thought we was Filipino. I think it was a darker skin and maybe the facial features. Well whether he be Filipino hot or Japan hot, he's hot. XD

OMG, it was SOOOO creepy! My friend and I were looking through some girly magazines the other day to tear out pictures that looked like characters, (yes, we're geeky losers) and there was this model that looked EXACTLY like a female Shige! She still has it and she's supposed to scan it, if she ever does I'll post it here! It was so wierd!

Akanishi Jin OMG, it was SOOOO creepy! My friend and I were looking through some girly magazines the other day to tear out pictures that looked like characters, (yes, we're geeky losers) and there was this model that looked EXACTLY like a female Shige! She still has it and she's supposed to scan it, if she ever does I'll post it here! It was so wierd!
Lol, really? biggrin Reminds me of that time where he dressed up as a geisha, gosh he really did look like a woman. XD

Katou Shigeaki!!!!
The first time I saw him I didn't realize it was actually him from NEWS. I remember him in a season of Kinpachi Sensei (a school drama, kids in last year of middle school) ...
Anyway ... I remember thinking he was pretty cute ... except his teeth were really crooked.
Then I thought he looked familiar when I was looking at Johnny's magazines a couple years later (after getting into JPOP) and realized the name matched to that in the credits of Hasegawa Ken ...
And I was like ... OMG! It's HASEGAWA KEN!!! ... And yeah, Katou Shigeaki definitely got his teeth straightened and now he looks even more smexy XD ...

I don't understand why this thread gets no love. I mean Shige is great. He has the prettiest eyes, he's different from everyone else, he's studying law. I mean how many other idol's do you see doing that. He doesn't try to be like everyone else. Some people think he does but they can't prove it. He's sensitive and his eyes. His eyes are so beautiful.

I don't know enough about Shige. Maybe it's because he's not as much of a camera hog or something, I dunno. I've grown no special attachments to him. :C Being the superficial person I am, I think he was cuter when he was younger.
But I still love his line at the beginning of Sayaendou. It's sexy.
When I was introducing NewS to my older sister, she dubbed Shige "Thai Girl" and the name has stuck ever since. x3
Oh, and someone needs to show me geisha!Shige. I've heard so much about it, never seen it! D:
PS One of the kanji in his name is the same as Ryo's. ;D
