I'm gonna keep this topic up just because I'm still playing PSO and I'm stubborn. Let's get some things started here. Post some funny stories pertaining to PSO here.

I thought they did. Well, I"m gonna post mah sotry. Me and a few guys I just met on PSO (XBOX version) were going through the game on normal. We got to floor 2 of the mines when we got a newbie in the room. NO, not a newb. A newb implies he was intelligent. A n00b. He must've JUST picked up the game. Well, we were gonna help him out. So, we told him to catch up to us. We set up a pipe to our position, after he already went inot the mines. We told him to go back up to town, using a pipe. He asked "What's a pipe?". We told him, "A Telepipe". He again asked"What's that?". He had no telepipes. We then asked him if he had a handgun, since he was level 1 and would be decimated if he was hit. Nope. I told him to hold his position, and I would find him. We asked him where he was in the mines. He didn't know. We told him ot check hte map. He asked where the map was. We told him. It still took him a few moments to find it. He said, "A rectangular room". In the mines. Reeal specific. I decided to go find him. He was nowhere in the mines. He was in the forest. b*****d. I'll finish up the story in a bit.

My bf is considering getting a PSO game (and I've convinced him to try out the Genesis ones too. wink ) , but he wants to know which one/s are playable both online and offline (preferably mostly offline), and which system. (He has all the current gen consoles BTW, so it doesn't matter which system.)

Just played PSO for about 10 hours yesterday... Gained 3 levels, about to gain another one (effectivly puttting me at level 39). Got 2 G-Assasin's Arms, a VERY powerful weapon (for me, at least), 1 P-Arms Arm, something I won't be able to use for a LOONG time (My ATP is 395, and this requires about 750, and you gain about 10 ATP per level in the HUmar class) and 2 rare staves for mah FOmar chara.

well the last post was like 20 days ago in here... but Oh Well.
before i sold my PSO game... i had it for gamecube. i found the game too repetative and the system of things was just alittle bad for my taste
i was lvl 44... on the 2nd difficulty of the game... offline, gamecubes online thing is a joke if i ever saw it... and i went to fight that computer guy... dont know his name... hes in the cave i think? its all computerized and technologicly looking... and anyways... ran out of mana... no spells.. my char was force, so no mana is like certain doom... its been so long i forget the classes, but it was the girl force... not the numan 1 with a clown hat... but anyways, i kept getting paralyzed and crap, and just got owned within something like 1 minute flat.... which i didnt see coming or anything like that at all.. cuz i mean i killed that thing in no time on the regular difficulty with no problem...
ANYWAYS i died, got VERY mad.... and lost like... 10 thousand meseta.... which was like... the ultimate smack in the face seeing as i lost to that boss... *sigh* just a momento to u all.... stop up on dimates.....

THat's why I got used to stocking my money every chance I got. Did you beat Hard Mode? If not, let me tell ya somethin. There's another form to the Dark Falz. That b***h is HARD. Make SURE you're stocked up on every healing item POSSIBLE before fighting her. Btw, to clarify your post. Your character was a FOmarl, and it was in the 2nd level of the mines you fought the boss. Vol Opt I believe his name was. And that's why I don't reguarly use Forces.

yea... and what u mean ANOTHER FORM.... Falz was a pain in my butt to begin with... i found it funny how it was like, little human guy running in circles... VS this rip-off of a blobby godzilla lol... he was hard to beat, stupid dark falz domokun Oh well... thanks for clearin that up then 3nodding All i hated was in Episode 2, the final fight while going down that long never-ending elevator... then when u beat him, u gotta fight that creature again... i just found out he was the final boss of episode 2... i wish i acually gotten to beat him before i sold it... PSO for me was boring... the story was alittle too un-told, and repetitive.... the levels, monsters, etc...
