This card can attack your opponent directly. When it does, any Battle Damage this card inflicts to your opponent becomes the original ATK of this card. You can change this card to Defense Position at the end of the Damage Step.
ATK: 800
DEF: 1800
So if I have a submarineroid out, and have Black Pendant that gives it 500 extra in attack and attack my opponents life points. The original attacka become 1300.
But then, does that mean that it now have 1800 in attack?
1300 original attack + black pendant 500?
(I would guess yes, but just wanted to be sure XP)
EDIT: Guess this should be moved to the card rulings forum >.<

I think you need to read that line again;
When it does, any Battle Damage this card inflicts to your opponent BECOMES the original ATK of this card.
Or maybe <.< erm.. yea >.<

ATK / 800 DEF / 1800
example:
p1 has submarineroid and legendary ocean out. p2 used a dark jeroid's effect on submarineroid earlyer. this leaves submarineroid with 200 attack. if submarine roid were to attack the opponet directly, it would deal 800 dmg because it's effect makes all battle damage it deals equal to it's original attack
