~Horror Movies~ Okay, so most of us here like horror movies, right? RIGHT! (if you don't...why are you in this guild...?)
Okay, so here are some that I like. These are a mixture of suspense, horror, and dark movies.
Bram Stoker's Dracula (vampire) Lost Boys (vampire) An American Werewolf in London (werewolf...duh) 16 Days Later *Thinks that's the name, but doesn't remember* (zombie) The Evil Dead (evil spirits) Poultergeist *Thinks that's how it's spelled* (spirits) The Shining (spirits) The Grudge (spirits) From Dusk Till Dawn (vampire)
So yeah... That's all I can think of....for now... If I think of more, I'll be sure to add them! ^_^

I Absolutely LOVE Zombie Movies. I Though Dead City Was Going To Be Great. It Turned Out To Be Really Really Crappy. I Didn't Like It At All. Alot Of The Graphics, And Killing Scenes Looked Incredibly Fake, Or Incredibly Gory, So Much That I Cringed While Watching It Sometimes. And I Don't Cringe

I love zombie movies too!
Anyway, Have you ever seen White Noise? That's a good movie, and it's kind of depressing too. I'd give it a four out of five stars, five being the best.
Anybody seen Silent Hill? I heard it really sucked...and they like took parts of the game and put them in the movie...sounds retarded to me...
Alone in the Dark has like, nothing to do with the game pretty much. It wasn't a very good movie in my opinion, either. Then again, I'm picky razz !
So yeah ^_^. Bram Stoker's Dracula is probably one of the best vampire movies ever made. Lost Boys is pretty good too. I like a lot of vampire/zombie horror movies xd ! The only good werewolf movie I've seen, other than possibly Underworld, is An American Werewolf in London. That's a very good movie! It has one of the best werewolf transitions EVER, in the history of movie werewolf magic making! The Evil Dead is an older movie, like AAWIL, and it's about like, these evil spirits that take over people and turn them evil too.
It's old, yes, but it's kind of creepy too. It's very disturbing! 16 Days Later involves zombies, and they run! They don't eat people though, they just kill them, and the virus spreads through blood and saliva. So yeah, that movie is awesome. Poultergeist is well...I'm kind of indifferent, but I like it a good deal. The Shining is very disturbing, and The Grudge is creepy. It makes you nervous at night, or at least, it did for me. 'Twas really hard to follow too!
From Dusk Till Dawn actually doesn't come off as a vampire movie right away, but it is. You'll have to see it, it's another great movie!
Murderer movies, in my opinion, are just retarded. They're more funny than anything, though that could just be because I think people getting stabbed is funny. I also find blood to be very, very pretty ^_^.
The older horror movies tend to be better than these newer ones it seems. Though, it may just be me, I don't know. So um...
Yay! Lol xd heart

I have not played the Silent Hill video game, though I do hear it is possibly the scariest game on the market. But I did see the movie, and I would give it a 4 out of 5. There is excessive blood, creepy jump moments, creatures that are not your 'ordinary' monsters and a slightly above average plot line for a horror film. Not the best, but definately something I wouldn't mind seeing again.
Land of the dead was alright I guess, I have a problem with zombies being able to learn mainly in part because their brains are supposedly rotting...But it was rather amusing so I reccomend at least one viewing of this zombie flick.
If you have never seen Night of the living Dead the origional you must. It isn't the best zombie movie, but it sure was the first to set the standard. Also, in combination with the two Dawn of the Dead's forms the four basic types of zombies. (land of the dead zombies are not included due to my dislike of learning zombies)
In my mind the four times set by these three films (and most others) are: Unholy slow zombie: dislikes light, animated by evil, slow and stupid Unholy fast zombie: dislikes light, animated by evil, fast and cunning Disease slow zombie: fearless, animated by disease, slow and stupid Diseases fast zombie: fearless, animated by disease, fast and cunning
As for good horror flicks, most of the mainstream ones have been mentioned and it's hard for me to remember all the B horror movies I've seen, but I will compile a list after I consult with my movie night friends who watched them all with me.

Silent Hill ROCKS. The Grudge, Ring, Gothica, Dead Birds (freaky demon zombie people in that one) Ring 2 I thought really sucked. I mean, it was all "fluff" and no movie really.

The Thing. I loved that movie, it's older, but I believe it is a very good horror movie.
Also: Silent Hill need more Pyramid Head, much more.
