Well, what are you more in the mood for?
Canon? Pastiche? Writings about the Writings?
If you don't mind a pastiche, I say grab a Laurie King book! xd
That's a great series!
If you want Writings about the Writings, that's hard to get. May have to search used book stores or Ebay or something.
Sherlock Holmes of Baker Street is interesting.
A combo of Canon & Writings I enjoy is the original Annotated Sherlock Holmes by William S. Baring-Gould. The notes are sometimes very interesting!

Definitely Laurie King. Otherwise I'd reccommend the "Oriental Adventures"... etc. I don't know why that one's by, though. I'd have to go dig it up from my piles of crap, and I don't want to do that right now. I'll go figure it out later.

That one's by Ted Riccardi, I think. I loved it.

Sherlock Holmes vs. Arsene Lupin

The mysterious gentleman thief of France vs. The greatest detective of all times from Great Britain. It's awesome!
Of course, Holmes catches Lupin and thwarts his plans to steal the sapphire, but Lupin escapes his grip, ending the match in a seeming tie.

Try "Angel of the Opera: Sherlock Holmes meets the Phantom of the Opera" by Sam Siciliano. That one was a great read!

"Mrs Hudson and the Spirit's Curse" by Martin Davies. That and its sequel, "Mrs Hudson and the Malabar Rose." Those are both pretty good, thoguh they protray Holmes as something of an a**.

Holmes is something of an a**. But he's something of a bloody awesome a**. i read those Mrs Hudson books, you know. I agree that they're really good. Where the heck do they get Flotsam as a name, though?

They might not be Holmes related but they're set in the late 1700's, the Master and Commander series and the Sharpe Series (Richard Sharpe fictional character)

Sounds absolutely fantastic! Holmes and the Phantom (Erik, if you're a phan) are probably my two favorite fictional characters EVER!

Anyway, I remember reading one series....I can't remember what it was called or who it was by, aren't I clever? But anyway, this series was about a girl named Something-or-Other Russell (yes, I have no idea what her first name was) and she met Holmes and helped him solve things...it's hard to explain when you can't remember it, all I remember is I really liked the first two or three books and then got so bored I didn't finish the fourth. But I would really reccomend the first two or three if anyone knows the title of this series!

That's what it was! I wasn't sure if it was Mary or something else that started with M.

The latest book is pretty cool--they go back to her family's home in San Francisco, which she has avoided ever since the accident. She works through a lot of old trauma in this one.
