Allright, I was browsing through a local music shop in the town I just moved to when I come across not one, but two Brawley five strings!! I couldn't believe it. For those of you who don't know, Brawley was a instrument maker that eventually went out of business because people basically didn't know what he was offering. His basses have extremely wide, flat necks which feel incredibly comfortable and make it so easy to slap on. They also come with Brawley's superb electronics. What amazed me most was that they were on sale for 500 bucks. That blew my mind. So if anyone is by Trill music in Riverside, Ca. check it out.

Allright, found out some more infor for the Brawley, and I'm definetly buying it. It's got passive electronics, a basswood body, bolt-on neck, and three piece neck and dual way truss rod. I am super excited, i've never felt anything so nice in my hands. It's like pure secks in bass form.
I am so fuggin excited.

Kyrenx Aahz Dude, I bought it, and once I unwrapped it and set it up, it was the sweetest damn thing on the planet. I about creamed myself. Nice. Post a pic of it whenever you get a chance. smile Can see me playing it on my bands Myspace. BattlefrontI've also lowered the action and raised a couple of the saddles so the neck and strings are pretty much flat, added an EMG humbucker in the bridge slot and an EMG single coil in the neck slot. Sounds like a beast now. Next is to get that Ampeg SVT 8X10 I want.
