"You’re right" Yisou said. "It is impolite to leave people. Therefore I'm afraid I must be returning to my earlier companions. I tire of these games,” he said. "But wait!" He pulled out another kind of remote and walked over, sticking it below Gojyo's neck and pressing his chin against it. "This is a pressure sensitive remote." he began. "And once it is engaged it will start a timer."
Cho Hakkai says:
Hakkai nearly suggested using nyoi-bo, but the lack of useful arms squelched that thought almost immediately. The Diamond Staff could probably break that chain, but they couldn’t use it… Though Hakkai’s musings were again cut short when he heard Chin Yisou start to explain another remote. His eye moved back to the screen.
Chin Yisou says:
He walked over to the wall and, pulled out a timer with big hands. "Don't worry, I have one upstairs too" he called to the people. "Towards the ceiling above Hakkai's head. So long as you don't release the button, everything is fine. But when you do it removes the item between the starters in here, and so begins the bomb. Nooowww..."
Chin Yisou says:
"That means you'd all be dead if that goes off. ^^ You've no one to help you here and I do believe Sanzo-sama is down for the count. So I think you'd best keep quiet, don't you think?" "Teme" Gojyo began. "Ah ah ah!" Yisou said. "It's *very* sensitive. Before I go though," he finished. "I've always wondered what it's like to shoot a banishing gun." He flipped Sanzo's gun around on his fingers.
Chin Yisou says:
You b*****d you give me that back right now." Sanzo demanded. "Or what? You'll die on me?" Yisou laughed. "That's a home made poison. ^^ Means only I know the antidote. And guess what? The only one I bothered making broke. So you're already gone." he patted his head. "Your red-haired friend will only last so long. He doesn't have much determination.
Chin Yisou says:
And when I go back upstairs I'm going to have Gonou kill that little friend of his. "
Cho Hakkai says:
Hakkai's heart felt like it stopped in his chest. This was way too much anxiety to receive at one time. Sanzo, the lack of an antidote, the bomb, and... No. He firmly told himself. "I won't." He said aloud.
Son Goku says:
"Sanzo... he wont die so easy! An' the kappa can do stuff if he really really tries!" At least... that was what Goku hoped.
Chin Yisou says:
"Now, I do believe this is all set up and ready to go?" he asked. "And all I do is pull this little trigger?" he did so and the gun jumped in his hands, firing a round off at the ceiling, one right by Gojyo's head, one in the far wall and once he'd regained a little more control over the gun, one straight through Sanzo's leg.
Chin Yisou says:
Sanzo gasped slightly in pain as he felt the bullet enter his leg. He couldn’t tell if it exited though. "Oops. At least you didn't shoot yourself in the foot." Yisou laughed. "I wonder if it went all the way through." He walked over. Sanzo again tried to swat at him but Yisou easily batted his hand away. Gojyo's eyes were wide on the other side from the shot so close to his head. "No" Yisou said.
Cho Hakkai says:
“Sanzo!” Hakkai cried out, then choked, but was only slightly relieved when he realized the monk had been hit in the leg instead of any vital area.
Chin Yisou says:
"It got stuck towards the back. I can feel it." He pressed painfully against it and laughed as Sanzo's leg twitched and automatically moved away from the pain. "Well, just one more thing to do." Yisou walked into a corner outside the screen and reappeared moments later with something foaming in his hand. "Dry ice anyone?" he asked, dumping it down Gojyo's shirt.
"Gaah!" Gojyo shouted, trying to simultaneously shake it out of his shirt and keep the buzzer's button pressed. "Holy mother ******** you shitter you! GOD DAMN IT! ********! ******** ******** ******** ******** ******** ********!!!!!!!" He kept up the cussing , the remote wobbling dangerously. "Gojyo, you b*****d!" Sanzo shouted from across the room. "If you make me die I swear I'll kick your a** in hell."
Chin Yisou says:
He coughed and rested back against the wall, his leg throbbing like hell, the bullet still lodged in him. His head hurt and he felt like he could vomit all over that purple haired b*****d. "I never did much to you, did I?" he asked Gojyo. "Let me fix that." he told him. Taking his hand he poised several of his needles they flew out, striking Gojyo.
Chin Yisou says:
Several landed in his abdomen and chest, two in his neck, and three on his face, one of them going straight through his ear. he gasped and choked, the remote slipping out from underneath, and the timer clicking on...
Son Goku says:
"GOJYO!" The shout was more of alarm than of accusation. Goku had been unable to say anything, watching all that had happened before that point. But now, he felt panic rising up in his system.
Cho Hakkai says:
“Shimatta…” Hakkai said quietly and looked for the timer. Oh, the vulgar things he could say to Chin right now, but he didn’t. He just stared in complete dismay. All words, thoughts, everything leaving him. The only thought that slipped through was of what Chin was doing to his friends, and that turned his stomach.
Chin Yisou says:
Chin poised his hand and dug it into Gojyo's insides. "Let's see you save him, Gonou." Yisou said painfully, his hand covered in blood. He dropped the banisher on the floor. "It's yours if you can reach it." He told them both, kicking it to where Sanzo would have to reach for it.
Chin Yisou says:
He turned towards the camera." On Goku's side of the wall is a small button. It's gray and blends in with the wall. If you can find it and he manages to press it before the three minutes- really two minutes and forty some seconds now- are up, it will stop the timer. However if you don't it will blow up and your little friends will be no more."
Chin Yisou says:
"You b*****d." Sanzo coughed. "I think you'd better worry about striving for that gun. At least you can put your friend out of his misery first. You'd better hope that the saru can find and reach that button. He may have issues with the shape he's in. He can't even use the nyoi-bo because it is heat sensitive. Goodbye now. I'll see you in hell."
Chin Yisou says:
With that Chin walked out, the blood dripping down from his hand.
Son Goku says:
Goku's body tensed, and his head reeled around to look at the wall. It was covered in shadows, and it all looked the same. Dammit. He began to move his body over to it as fast as he possible could in his condition, using his good though boiled hand to touch the wall when he was close enough. He grit his teeth against the pain, his stomach beginning to bleed again. "Damn it... damn it..."
Cho Hakkai says:
Hakkai was just staring, eye wide, in a kind of shocked stupor. Unresponsive. Sanzo and Gojyo… Sanzo’s poisoned body, Gojyo’s with a similar wound to his own, the bomb, and Goku’s arms… He cursed himself for not killing this man for good the first or the second time.
Chin Yisou says:
The timer ticked to where only Goku could see it. The time was quickly going down. He only had so long left to find that button.
Son Goku says:
After inspecting the lower part of the wall best he could, Goku used his "good" hand again to help him sit up. He winced at the pain in his abdomen, but kept going. He then did his best to turn and start searching around on other parts of the wall, panting from the exertion and the pain of using his hand. "It's gotta... gotta be here..."
Chin Yisou says:
The gun skittered across the floor. "What the hell are you doing?" Gojyo asked. "Try to get it over here." Sanzo said. "Why, so you can shoot me? No thanks." "I know what I'm doing!" Sanzo yelled. "Just frigging try and do something. Summon that scythe of yours and try and push it over here." "I can't aim it like this." Gojyo said. "Don't ya think I would have cut him limb from limb if I could?"
Chin Yisou says:
"Just do it, damn it!" Sanzo ordered. "At least toss it over here."
Chin Yisou says:
"I'm not dieing when someone else tells me to die! I'll frecken decide when. - -"
Chin Yisou says:
The clock kept ticking. Two minutes left.
Son Goku says:
Goku glanced at the clock, then back at the wall. His hand was shaking from near desperation. "It's gotta... be here...!" He just kept searching, reaching up as high as he could go without standing.
Cho Hakkai says:
Hakkai finally broke from his stupor as Goku searched. "G-Goku!" He had difficulty focusing through all of this, but did anyway and summoned a soft ball sized mass of yellow chi in the palm of his hand. It was bright enough to illuminate that corner of the room. "Does that help...?" He asked breathlessly.
Son Goku says:
Goku nodded, sparing a second to glance back at Hakkai. "Th-thanks..." he then promptly turned back around to keep looking, one thought going through his brain. Running out of time... he was running out of time...
Chin Yisou says:
The timer kept ticking. A minute thirty seconds.
Cho Hakkai says:
The chi made a fizzling sound and flickered as his concentration wavered, but he kept the chi flow stable so it didn't go out. "Anything?" He asked.
Chin Yisou says:
"I got it!" Sanzo shouted. "Good! Now don't shoot me!" Gojyo's voice came out of the speakers. "Oops. I'd forgotten this." Chin's voice came on. "Teme!" "Goodbye now!" He said again. "You've only a minute and twenty seconds left you know."
Son Goku says:
"N-not yet... I-I'm really tryin'... but n-nothin' yet..." Goku continued to pant as he moved around the best he could. His entire body throbbed, but he couldn't allow himself to stop.
Cho Hakkai says:
"I-I don't mean to rush you. Just focus. You'll find it. Just focus." He said in a soothing tone attempting to cover up the tension.
Chin Yisou says:
"Oi, they left the audio on, right?" Gojyo asked. "Yeah. Genius." Sanzo said irritably. "Any luck so far?" He called out. "Stop asking stupid questions.” Sanzo said. "Oi...what're you doing over there?" Gojyo's voice asked him. "Damn lights...It's hard to…Holy crap! s**t no! What good is that gonna do?" Sanzo let out a small gasp of pain before a large thump was heard of a body falling to the ground
Son Goku says:
"N-no!" Goku called out, biting back the cries of desperation that threatened to tear from his throat. Close. He had to be close. Hakkai was right. He was always right, right? His body went tense as he heard the two voices over the TV. Unable to turn around, he called out to Hakkai. "What jus' happened!?"
Cho Hakkai says:
"I-I'm not sure!" His voice was quick and betrayed the frustration and panic he was experiencing. "I wasn't looking! Gojyo! Sanzo! What happened?" He called to them.
Chin Yisou says:
"The frecking monk just frecking killed his hand is what happened!" "You know I could just leave you here." Sanzo said to him dryly. "Nuh uh. Not after I had to get that damn gun to you. Get me out. Forty-five seconds! Holy s**t!" Gojyo exclaimed. "Let me cut off your thumb." Sanzo said. "Better then losing a whole hand." "No, thank you." Gojyo said.
Son Goku says:
"W-what!?" Nothing made sense in Goku's frazzled mind. He kept searching. Forty-five... "What do ya' mean? Sanzo?"
Chin Yisou says:
"Just look for that damn button, saru!" Sanzo shouted.
Son Goku says:
"I am!" Goku shouted back. "But I wanna know what h-happened too!" He moved over again to search farther along the wall.
hin Yisou says:
The banisher fired a few rounds. "Holy s**t that one grazed me!" Gojyo said. "Stop being a wuss and pull!" Sanzo said. "Whaddya think I'm doing?" Gojyo said, his voice also strained with his efforts. "It’s not easy when you feel your insides becoming your outsides." there was another round of the banisher. "OW! That one got me!"
Chin Yisou says:
The time showed. Twenty seven seconds left.
Cho Hakkai says:
Hakkai’s head was spinning. Panic and fear for his friends taking over. “Anything?” He asked to preoccupy himself from the other scene.
Son Goku says:
Goku shook his head, tears of frustration and anger in his eyes. He slammed his fist against the wall once and winced at the little extra shock of pain. "N-nothin' yet... not... not yet, but I'll find it..." He resumed searching.
Chin Yisou says:
There was a clang. "Damn even the scythe can't cut through it." Gojyo said. "Sure you don't want me to take off your thumbs?" Sanzo said. "I don't know. That depends. Damn I wish you didn't have girly arms right now." Gojyo retorted. "Leaving you!" Sanzo said. "No! Wait! Sorry. Get me out."

The timer ticked down to ten seconds.

Hakkai threw his head back, cracking it against the wall rather painfully out of frustration. He gritted his teeth and looked back over to Goku who was still searching.
Son Goku says:
“It’s here! It’s jus’ gotta be!” Goku growled through gritted teeth. His fingers brushed a raised surface on the wall, but he just couldn’t touch it. “I—I think I found it! Damnit! I can’t reach it!” He cringed in pain and tried to make himself taller, willing his fingers to stretch just a bit more but they wouldn’t… “K’so!!!”

Wanted to look back to see what had happened in the other room, but he reminded himself he needed to focus and stretch enough to get that button. "K'so! K'so! K'so! K'so! K'so! K'so!!!" The strain pulled on his stomach wound.

Hakkai: "Three seconds Goku!"

"K'so!!! Hakkai, I can't reach it!" The frustrated tears still streaming down his cheeks. He kept trying to extend his fingers though with no luck.

With one last effort the boy slipped, back to the ground cursing madly and trying to get back up to the button...
Chin Yisou says:
The timer sounds three times in both rooms, before a large explosion can be heard outside their area. The screen on the TV flickers as the feed is destroyed and turns to the fuzzy, static screen. However, you can hear the beginnings of a yell from the pair before the audio goes.
Cho Hakkai says:
"Gojyo! Sanzo!" Both Hakkai and Goku scream as the feed cuts out.
Son Goku says:
"Gojyo! SANZO!" Goku turned his head towards the screen, catching nothing but static. His body was propped up on the floor at an awkward angle, which was almost painful, but he didn't care. All that mattered was the explosion he had just heard. "D-did they...? H-Hakkai? Are they..."
Cho Hakkai says:
Hakkai tore is eye from the screen to look at Goku. "I.. Goku... They..." He didn't want to say yes, but he didn't want to lie when it seemed rather impossible for them to have escaped. "We can't know for certain, but the chances of them..." surviving is pretty low. He didn't finish out loud.
Chin Yisou says:
"Aww..." Chin said, leaning against the wall. "Did I do that?" He chuckled to himself and went over to the TV flicking it off. "Guess we don't need this anymore now, do we?"
Son Goku says:
Goku looked back towards the wall, not even acknowledging Chin with a glance. His forehead rested against the stone. His entire body felt sorta numb, even with all the pain from his various injuries. All that mattered was that explosion he'd just heard. His eyes were wide, but they didn't really seem to be able to see anything. They just... they couldn't be...
Cho Hakkai says:
Hakkai quickly shot Chin Yisou a glare the moment he heard his voice. Anger rising quickly coupled with the painful loss of two of his closest/only friends.
Chin Yisou says:
"Aw, don't be so mad." Yisou said. "I even brought you a present. I almost didn't get back in time to retrieve them for you." He tossed one of the clumps of hair he'd ripped out of Sanzo's head at Goku. There was some blood towards the end that had been embedded in his scalp as well as some from where Chin's hand had been holding it. "And one for Gonou too." He said, placing it on his head for him
Chin Yisou says:
"Hmm." He thought, taking a step back. "No, I am sure of it. You would not make a good blonde, Gonou."
Cho Hakkai says:
Hakkai lowered his head, allowing the blonde hair to fall but also to shield his anger so he could contain it. He gritted his teeth and took deep breaths, or at least as deep as the collar would allow, to calm himself. “You are a monster…” Hakkai half whispered. “They… You won’t get away with killing them. I will see to that.”
Son Goku says:
Goku swallowed hard, looking down at the hair slowly. At the moment, he couldn't even hear the other two. He was too wrapped up in his own thoughts. Once his eyes had landed on the blond strands on the floor, he couldn't look away.
Chin Yisou says:
"What're you going to do?" Yisou said to him, grinning. "Glare at me?" He threw back his head with laughter. Stopping abruptly he smiled at him evilly. "Now I really CAN direct all my attention to you two."
Cho Hakkai says:
He tugged at the shackles again. Yisou was right. There wasn’t anything he could do. He was helpless. Chin Yisou killed his friends and he couldn’t even avenge them. His gaze remained on the floor and he fell silent. What could he say? More threats he couldn’t back up? Insults that Chin probably enjoyed? Hakkai looked over at Goku, not lifting his head.
Son Goku says:
Goku had reached over silently, grabbing the hair in his unbroken hand. There was a shadow cast over his eyes, and he was completely silent, but there were still streaks of water slipping down his face. His hand clenched around the hair.
Chin Yisou says:
"I still have a little bit of extra time to have some more fun. Let me look around and see what I can find." He walked over to his stuff and was looking through. "Ah. I forgot about this." He said, holding a small vial. “It's not a perfect antidote but it did help with some of the poison. I'm pretty sure I broke the other one. Oh well." he said, letting it fall and crash to the floor, shattering.
Son Goku says:
Goku winced at the sound of the glass shattering. Not that it mattered anymore, if Sanzo really was... but, still. It was painful nonetheless.
Chin Yisou says:
He flicked a switch not far away from Gonou so that more of the lights turned on in the room. "It's hard to see when it's dark sometimes," he told them. "You should have seen how bright it was in the other room. Oh goodness, I should have told you. The button is SO much easier to see in the light."
Cho Hakkai says:
Hakkai had to momentarily squint when the lights came on. His eyes had adjusted to the dark and the sudden change in the lighting hurt. He growled a displeased sound when Yisou mentioned how much easier it would have been to see the button in the light. His chi had provided light, but not near enough.
Chin Yisou says:
Yisou pocketed the hair from Sanzo while he was near Hakkai. "This will make a lovely time capsule item, don't you think? Or else I'll just put it in a memory book instead. It really is quite shiny when the rooms are lighted."
Cho Hakkai says:
"You're..." He stopped himself. There's no point... He told himself. The youkai had finally directed his gaze back at Chin Yisou.
Son Goku says:
Goku winced when the lights came back on, but he didn't bother looking up. He just continued to stare at the hair in his hand.
Chin Yisou says:
"Ah, a corkscrew. ^^ " Yisou said as he found that. "I was intending to use this on the wine later, but I'm sure I could use it now. Who would like to go first? The traumatized monkey or you, Gonou?"
Chin Yisou says:
"It must be terrible, isn't it" he began softly. "To lose the one thing you want to hold onto most in the world. Isn't it funny, how you always protected him when he could have done fine on his own, but the one time he really needed you, you failed? And miserably too..."
Chin Yisou says:
He crouched down. "And after he's saved you so many times too...you’ve only ever caused him problems." He chuckled. "Stupid monk. You know, I think he was worried before he even woke up. He was tossing and turning when he was unconscious."
Cho Hakkai says:
That was all he could handle. "Yisou, stop it. Leave Goku alone. He's not to blame for this, you are. Just... leave him alone." If I had just killed him the first time... "Goku, don't let Chin Yisou's mind games get to you. You're stronger than that."
Chin Yisou says:
"If he's so strong why couldn't he push a little button?" Yisou asked evilly.
Son Goku says:
Yisou was right. Goku knew he was right. All he'd had to do was push a button to save them both, and he hadn't even been able to do that! And after Sanzo had freed him, given him everything... and Yisou was right again about Sanzo saving him. And all he ever did was bother Sanzo, though he didn't mean to. A slight tremor went through his body.
Chin Yisou says:
"Face it Gonou. The boy failed. The button was on his side. Even you can't deny that he didn't get to it in time. It was right there. It only takes a moment to press it and even faster for the signal to go through. The clock would have stopped and they would have at least been alive."
Cho Hakkai says:
"But it wasn't his fault..." His voice was noticeably weaker seeing Goku's reaction and lacking in facts to prove Chin Yisou wrong. "He tried. He tried to save them. It would be different if he hadn't tried, but he did..." Oh boy did that sound familiar.
Chin Yisou says:
"Like you?" He sneered. "At least when these ones died the person he was trying to save wasn't going to commit suicide to get away from him." "If it wasn't his fault then who's was it? Yours? You, restrained on the other side of the room? He was able to move, it isn't that far away from him...he's just a pathetic, useless fool."
Chin Yisou says:
"I have a wonderful idea. Instead of killing him, why don't I put him back on that mountaintop for another five hundred years? Only this time Sanzo won't be here to get him out. He’ll sit there, all alone, forever."
Son Goku says:
Goku's body tensed, eyes widening as his expression changed from one of extreme guilt to one of fear. "N-no… No!"
Cho Hakkai says:
Hakkai shut his eyes and let his head drop low again. That one hurt… More than the screwdriver had. Who’s fault was it? It a way he was responsible. If he had killed Chin Yisou properly then he wouldn’t be here to do this to them. His chest clenched further when he heard Goku. Oh this was a nightmare...
Chin Yisou says:
"And you've forgotten him already." Yisou said. "I guess that you really didn't care about him after all. A few little words and all of a sudden he's out of the picture. How loyal you are too. I would at least mourn for someone for longer then a few mere minutes."
Son Goku says:
"I-I..." Of course Goku hadn't forgotten. Just the sudden wave of memories he'd gotten at just the mention of that mountaintop... "...Didn’t..." He shut his eyes tightly, slowing the flow of tears he didn't even realize were slipping out.
Chin Yisou says:
"I wonder...would you forget about him up there?" He cocked his head to one side. "Do you think you would?"
Son Goku says:
Goku quickly shook his head. Of course he couldn't forget. There was no way... was there? No! Of course not! He couldn't ever forget about Sanzo, not in a million years.
Chin Yisou says:
"No? What if someone else had been kind to you before you were put in that mountain? You don't remember them now, do you? How do you know you wouldn't forget about Sanzo, IF there was someone in your past that had helped you as well and you'd forgotten them?"
Son Goku says:
Goku shook his head again, although slower this time, as if he suddenly wasn't so sure. "Nobody... there wasn't... anybody... I-I would remember... S-Sanzo..."
Chin Yisou says:
"Sanzo's dead. And you were pretty much the one that carried out his sentence. ^^ Congratulations."
Son Goku says:
Goku winced, biting back a small sob. He had been trying not to let himself fully realize it. He'd been trying, but hearing that one sentence pretty much had him undone. Hearing Yisou just come out and say it like that was like a stab to the heart. "Shut... shut up..." he said, any anger or fire in his voice gone.
Chin Yisou says:
"Will that really make you feel any better?" He asked him. "You know, I got to speak to him before you were awake. He already knew something was going to go wrong. You'd be surprised at all the threats I received for the possibility of harming you...”
Son Goku says:
Goku slowly tilted his head up to look at Yisou, not sure whether he should believe him or not. Sanzo rarely showed any concern for Goku while he was actually around; that Goku noticed, anyway.
Chin Yisou says:
"Well, I guess he doesn't have to worry about fulfilling any of those threats now does he?"
Son Goku says:
Goku let his eyes rest on the ground again, shaking his head. "... W-why'd you... have to..." He couldn't even finish his own sentence.
Chin Yisou says:
"Why'd I have to what? Blow him up? Make it so that the only traces of him left are the locks I ripped painfully out of his head? Why I broke his wrist and nose, shot him in the leg? Poisoned him so he felt like s**t the entire time? Were you wondering why he didn't have another transmitter to someone else? The only one left was you and he'd shut his mouth for that I'm sure."
Chin Yisou says:
"He'll never tell you so because he's afraid his past will repeat itself; that he'll lose you like he lost his master, or that he'll leave someone behind as he was left behind. He does it to partially to protect you. Unfortunately, you couldn't protect him. So I guess it's similar to his instance, eh?"
Chin Yisou says:
"It's not like he could walk much anyway in the condition he was in. After all, HE'S only human."
Son Goku says:
"He never told me any of that..." Goku murmured, mostly to himself. There had been so little he'd really known about Sanzo... and now it was just too late. "... Y-you still didn't say why..."
Chin Yisou says:
"Why what?" He asked him.
Son Goku says:
"W-why you killed 'im!" Goku suddenly shouted, a sudden rush of hate and grief giving him a boost of energy.
Chin Yisou says:
"Oh." he chuckled. "Because I no longer wanted to use him. He grew boring rather quickly. That b*****d monk was far too mouthy. u.u"
Chin Yisou says:
"He was only here for me to play with. And I decided I didn't like him so I got rid of him. Nothing more then that."
Son Goku says:
The angry energy inside of Goku intensified. He looked back up at Yisou, eyes burning with hate. "Don't say that! Y-you're not supposed ta' jus' kill people like that!"
Chin Yisou says:
"Why should I have let him live?" he asked. "Give me one good reason."
Son Goku says:
"He never did anythin' to you!" Goku shouted out again.
Chin Yisou says:
"He's helped Gonou here. The other...thing in that room also did. They both deserve to die for just that."
Cho Hakkai says:
Hakkai glanced up at the sound of his name. That still didn’t give him a proper reason to kill them. Listening to this… To poor Goku was hard, but he did.
Son Goku says:
"They didn't deserve to die!" The boy continued to shout. His energy surged, demonic aura pulsing stronger than before. His body was still in a horrible state though, not affected by the energy- yet.
Chin Yisou says:
"Like you?" he whispered to the boy, knowing his heightening senses would pick it up. He stood up and stretched, taking care to punch Hakkai across the face with his hand as he did.
Cho Hakkai says:
Hakkai recognized the aura and shuddered, but kept quiet. This may be to their advantage. He grunted as the punch struck him, but did nothing more than glare.
Chin Yisou says:
"Right" Yisou said. "I'm getting tired of you too. Perhaps it's time that I finish with this. I'm sure there are dozens of other people waiting out there for me to get to."
Chin Yisou says:
He pulled out a shot full of an awkward colored liquid. He thrust it into Hakkai's neck, releasing it into the jugular so that it would spread quickly throughout his body.
Cho Hakkai says:
He gasped when the needle was forced in. "What... was that?" He asked, but afraid of the answer.
Chin Yisou says:
"Just a little something that will help me have you kill your friend here. ^^" He kicked Goku in the face as he mentioned him, blood cascading out afterwards. "Lay back and watch. You won't be here much longer to be angry anyway."
Chin Yisou says:
"In that shot were miniscule mechanisms that will now flow to the different parts of your body. When I activate them they will stimulate the cells that release the chemicals, hormones, and endorphins needed for specific movements. In other words, I'll be controlling your movements from on the inside. You won't be able to do a thing."
Chin Yisou says:
"Well, that I tell you to do or not to do." he chuckled to himself.
Son Goku says:
Goku's already weakened body could barely support the amount of energy his anger was producing, so with the loss of blood came a loss of energy. He was knocked onto his back once again, gasping for air through his mouth while blood poured from his nose. He felt light-headed again with the new bout of blood loss.
Cho Hakkai says:
His eye grew wide in fear. "No." He looked over at Goku then back to Chin Yisou. "Please no." His heart was suddenly pounding, and that didn't help him any. "I won't." His voice was lacking certainty. "This can't be happening."
Chin Yisou says:
"You really think you won't?" Yisou laughed. "Shall I prove it to you first?" He removed what looked similar to a fancy remote control car controller. He rested the control for the collars in Gonou's hand. "When I work this machine" he explained, "You're going to shock not only your friend, but yourself as well. ^^ Three...two...One..."
Cho Hakkai says:
Hakkai cried out. It was more out of frustration than the pain as the shock ran through him. When it stopped, he wanted to just drop the controller to the ground, but he couldn’t. How could this be happening? He couldn’t kill Goku. He couldn’t even bite off his tongue since Yisou had control of his muscles this time. The only thing he could hope for was Goku’s limiter shattering…
Cho Hakkai says:
…and stopping him from harming Goku.
Chin Yisou says:
"Wonderful, isn't it?" Yisou said as Gonou cried out. "You can't try to stop something you can't control."
Son Goku says:
Goku's body tensed and arched, a scream tearing out from his throat. Without the need to protect himself and Hakkai from being shocked any further, there was no need to muster up the energy to hold back. Once the shock stopped he went still against the ground, breathing heavily.
Chin Yisou says:
Yisou came over and released Gonou's hands for him. "Does it feel good to be free at last?" He asked him, smirking. "Now I want you to do me a little favor." He told him. He gave him several of his needles. "Why don't you go over there and stick these in your little friend? I'm sure he won't mind in the slightest." Using his remote control he smiled with satisfaction as Gonou began walking over.
Son Goku says:
Goku slowly turned his head towards Hakkai as he began walking over. He could barely register what he was seeing. It just didn't make any sense. "H-Hakkai...?"
Cho Hakkai says:
His own voice was screaming in his head. He tried everything he could thing of to regain control and just kept trying even if the ideas failed. One thing he did manage to do was coerce his body avoid pressure points and vital areas as his body chose the destination of the needles. The look of dreadful fear in his eye was probably the only thing that represented Hakkai.
Cho Hakkai says:
He knelt down next to Goku and reached out to him to press the needles into the non-lethal areas he had picked. He could only think Goku would fight back and do something to stop him.
Son Goku says:
Goku shut his eyes tightly as the needles went into his body, hissing at the sharp and immediate pain that followed. He would have lashed out... or at least have tried... but it was Hakkai. He couldn't hurt Hakkai. He could only wait until it was over.
Chin Yisou says:
"You can press those in a little more." Yisou told him as he made him press them in further until the heads were barely sticking out. "There we go." He said happily. He used the controls to make Hakkai dig his fingernails into Goku's "good" arm as far as they would go at his shoulder before painfully dragging the hand down through Goku's flesh.
Chin Yisou says:
"Open wide, Goku." Yisou said. "Gonou's got some of your skin under his nails he'd like you to taste."
Son Goku says:
Goku shook his head, clenching his teeth together. And he had thought his body couldn't possibly hurt any more than it had been. Hah.
Chin Yisou says:
Chin sighed. "Why do they always have to be difficult? Well, we'll just have to pry his mouth open then."
Cho Hakkai says:
While Chin Yisou’s focus was primarily on his hands he bit down on the soft flesh that he had just barely managed to move between his teeth. A soft whimper came out of his nose, hardly audible. Goku may have heard it. The blood flow wasn’t fast enough. Hakkai cursed in his mind. He hadn’t had enough control to move his tongue far enough to sever the artery.
Cho Hakkai says:
All he had managed to do was split part of the side of his tongue and cause himself useless pain. Though the blood did fill the small vacant spaces in his mouth and a thin trickle trailed down the corner of his mouth. His eye begged Goku to fight back as he reached of his mouth to pry it open.
Son Goku says:
Surprisingly enough, Goku felt himself smiling at Hakkai. It was kind of his silent way of saying he understood, and he didn't blame Hakkai... but he just couldn't fight back. What reason was there to hurt another friend after he'd already resulted in the deaths of two others? He had no real will to want to fight back.
Chin Yisou says:
Yisou watched as he pried Goku's mouth open and popped in the pieces of torn flesh. "Does Goku raw taste better then Goku boiled?" Yisou asked, making him taste his comrade's blood. "There won't be too much more." He told Gonou. "You'll kill him soon enough."
Son Goku says:
Goku winced at the taste of his own flesh, but tried not to react otherwise.
Cho Hakkai says:
Hakkai saw the smile and knew Goku understood, but when he didn’t fight back, Hakkai wanted to scream. Goku refused to fight back, probably to protect him, but that only furthered Hakkai’s pain. He tried to beg Goku through his eye again. If Goku didn’t fight back…
Chin Yisou says:
Yisou walked over to Hakkai, his blade in his hands. "Here you are." He said handing it to him. Can you guess what we're going to do with this? ^^"He asked him.
Son Goku says:
Goku eyed the blade, a strange calm settling over his body. It was insane. Maybe it was from the extreme physical shocks his body had gone through, or maybe it was the loss of blood... or the loss of Sanzo. In any case, the thought of that blade didn't bother him. He didn't feel scared. Not that he wanted it stuck into him, but he just couldn't find the capacity to care about it.
Cho Hakkai says:
‘Please fight back! You have to fight back! Goku, don’t let him do this!’ His voice echoed in his head. He swallowed a mouthful of blood and held the blade tightly in a white knuckled grip. He wanted to force the blade into Yisou’s chest, but couldn’t quite get the control to do so. Hakkai bared his teeth somewhat, another trickle of blood spilling from his lips,
Cho Hakkai says:
he put everything he had into trying to prevent his body from moving.
Chin Yisou says:
"I want you to kill him the way Kanan died; in your arms and with your blade. And always remember, if you hadn't been here or had done something sooner he probably wouldn't have died."
Chin Yisou says:
"Though I'm sure he doesn't mind. Not if he gets to live in Hell with precious Sanzo."
Cho Hakkai says:
All fighting stopped. He felt his mind almost freeze over. Kanan… Goku… For the first time in as long as he could remember, his sole eye glistened with the threat of tears. He couldn’t do this. He wouldn’t do this. How could Goku just sit there and allow him to do this? But he knew. When he lost his most precious person, he would have accepted death happily.
Cho Hakkai says:
Was Goku the same? He wasn’t sure if he should fight it anymore or not…
Son Goku says:
Goku couldn't argue. The thought of being able to see Sanzo again actually appealed to him, despite the small setback of having to die first. Why would he want to live in a world without the sun again anyway? He caught Hakkai's gaze, noting the tears and feeling a heavy guilt settle in his chest. "Don't... Hakkai... no cryin'..."
ho Hakkai says:
To grant Goku that death or to deprive him of it and force him to live this hellish life for how ever long he could. The blade lifted and Hakkai squeezed his eyes shut. As he did so, the tear was pushed out and landed on Goku’s body that was already partially beneath him. The aim was the stomach, but he couldn’t. Goku seemed to want it, but he couldn’t.
Cho Hakkai says:
“No…” He choked out barely able to. His mouth hardly moved, but the word was clear. “Iya desu…” He almost didn’t have to do more than part his lips for the plead...
