Sharingan (Mastered):
Sharingan is the blood inheritance limit of the Uchiha Clan. The Uchiha are said to be descendants of the Hyuuga, with the Byakugan changing into the Sharingan over time. This doujutsu (eye skill) gives one the ability to read Genjutsu, Taijutsu and Ninjutsu and then defeat it. As such, the clan member can view a technique being performed and almost instantly memorize the movements required to be able to complete it, including the needed chakra moldings and seals used. However the clan member cannot copy techniques that are unique to another bloodline and the clan member must have a body capable of meeting the chakra and physical requirements to do the jutsu. This rarely stops the clan member though, as such stressful situations often push their limits farther and allow them to harness their full potential.

The Uchiha clan member is not granted the Sharingan at birth; it is only activated later in life, typically during a time of emotional stress in the heat of battle. The Sharingan itself can be transferred to another non-Uchiha by a medical ninja, such as happened with Leaf ninja Uchiha Obito to his teammate Hatake Kakashi. Because his body was not born to carry the Sharingan, the eye is always activated and it burns Kakashi's chakra when used. To lessen the impact of the Sharingan on Kakashi's body, he normally keeps the eye hidden and out of use. Also of note, is the fact Kakashi, a non-Uchiha, was able to advance the Sharingan from two tomoe to three tomoe after gaining the eye.

The Sharingan itself contains three tomoe (comma). A higher mastery of the Sharingan can be seen in the creation of a new tomoe in the eye, with three tomoe being the typical highest form of the eye. The rare Mangekyou form is a unique evolution of the Sharingan beyond the three tomoe form, please see its entry for more information. An eye possessing two tomoe can allow the Uchiha clan member to track the movement of an opponent and do some minor copying of an opponents attack. For avoiding incoming attacks, the Uchiha's speed and agility will greatly control whether they can move to avoid it. However, three tomoe will greatly help in this area.

Two tomoe will also allow the ninja to pierce Genjutsu and see the surrounding reality for what it really is. It can also allow the member to pierce another’s body and see their chakra. While the eye is not refined enough to see the tenketsu and chakra circulatory system like the Byakugan, it can view the movement and flow of chakra. This can help them tell if a person is trapped in a Genjutsu, or if an attacker is a real threat or merely a bunshin.

An eye containing three tomoe will allow the ninja to see the image of an attacker’s next move from the slightest muscle tension in their body. This prevents wasteful movement and allows the Uchiha clan member to conserve much needed chakra in battle. It allows them to synchronize their movement to strike at an area moments before their opponent is even in that spot, essentially allowing them to strike out and hit their opponent before they're even there.

Three tomoe also grants the Uchiha the ability to do Genjutsu and hypnosis after locking eyes with an enemy. This can be used to cause their opponent to do an attack of the Uchiha's choosing. This hypnosis can also be used as a Genjutsu counter, which is the ability to turn a Genjutsu spell back upon the original caster without the requirement of forming any handseals.

Sharingan Replay Ability:
This ability can transfer information and experience to other people by making them replay events and things that happened using their sharingan.

Sharingan Soufuusha Sannotachi - Sharingan Windmill Triple Blade:
Sharingan Soufuusha Sannotachi is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by Uchiha clan. Using the developed vision of the Sharingan eye, the clan member hurls three Windmill Shuriken which have wire attached. While in the air the clan member can manipulate wire to make the blades circle the target, which results in the attached wire binding them.

Ryuuka no Jutsu - Dragon Fire Technique Katon • Ryuuka no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Fire Element. After binding the opponent, the ninja uses a guide wire to unleash a large torrential fire burst onto the target.

Magen • Kyouten Chiten - Demonic Illusion • Mirror Heaven and Earth Change
Magen • Kyouten Chiten is a Genjutsu technique unique to the Uchiha bloodline Sharingan holders. Using the copy and counter functions of the Sharingan eye, the Uchiha clan member can stop the sensory spell cast on their body and reverse it back on their opponent.

Bijuu Sight Ability (Can see/suppress the power of a bijuu, an ability previously demonstrated by Sasuke Uchiha):
This ability, first used by Uchiha Madara, allows a particularly powerful sharingan user to "see" the bijuu inside of a jinchuurik. They can also suppress the bijuu's power, making the jinchuurik unable to call upon the chakra or powers of their demon.

The Mangekyou Sharingan (Kaleidoscope Copy Wheel Eye)
The Mangekyou Sharingan, literally Kaleidoscope Copy Wheel Eye, is a higher form of the Uchiha clan Sharingan. Until recently, it was thought that only natural Sharingan users could obtain that technique, but it seems The Mangekyou Sharingan is not easy to obtain however for those who are not made of cold blood as they must make a tremendous sacrifice in order to obtain it, they must kill their best friend. In Itachi's case, we learned that he killed Uchiha Shisui. As for Kakashi, his best friend, Uchiha Obito, sacrificed himself to save him, making Kakashi a potential Mangekyou Sharingan user. However, despite its immense destructive power, the Mangekyou Sharingan is a double edged sword. Hence, the Sharingan 'causes a terrible strain on the user's eyes and eventualy deteriorate his eyesight. Morevover, using the Mangekyou Sharingan uses enourmous amounts of Chakra. And for unatural users of the Sharingan, such as Hatake Kakashi, it's even worse. But, despite its drawbacks, the Mangekyou Sharingan is the deadliest technique known to this day.

The Unknown Third Technique((possibly named Susanoo))-With this technique, Kakashi formed a handseal to activate his Sharingan and change it into his Mangekyou form. Kakashi then focused on a point on the body of his target. The area around the target then began to warp and collapse in on itself, resulting in about half a meter diameter of area being quickly "sucked" out of existence.
This doujutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which uses a form of the Mangekyou Sharingan eye to launch a long range attack. This technique may be a third Mangekyou skill in a trio named after mythological deities. The first is Amaterasu, next is Tsukuyomi and this may be Susanoo.

English Name: Sharingan(Hypnosis)
Description: Available only to those who possess the Sharingan, it hypnotises the opponent and lets the user suggest thoughts and actions to them. The user often follows a successful hypnosis with constant mimicry of the opponent's movements and speaking out their thoughts in perfect synch, which they are able to do since they are the ones suggesting those movements and thoughts in the first place; this greatly bewilders the opponent and makes it appear as if the user can see the future.

Sharingan replay ability: the user of this sharingan ability can transfer information to other people by makeing them replay events and things that happened very fast


Japanese Name: Tsukuyomi
English Name: Moon Reader
Description: Named after the Shinto god of the moon, this Genjutsu is one of the most powerful Uchiha jutsu enabled by the Mangekyō Sharingan. The Mangekyō user places the victim in an illusory world where all aspects, including the perception of time, are controlled by the user. Uchiha`s uses this ability to inflict three days' worth of torment on his victims , while in reality only three seconds may have passed, which tends to leave the victim bedridden. However, Tsukuyomi is an enormous chakra drain on the user, which discourages its frequent use. Itachi is seemingly only able to use it for the equivalent of three days maximum.

Tsukiyomi: Black dream: Itachi traps the enemy in a Tsukuyomi illusion, causing them to see the ground beneath their feet break open, plummeting them into a huge chasm. The torment ends (and apparently his/her life) when a column of fire slams them into the pit.

Japanese Name: Amaterasu
English Name: Shining Heaven
Description: Named after the Shinto sun goddess, this legendary jutsu is unknown outside of the fire-manipulating Uchiha clan. The jet-black flames are said to be as hot as the Sun, and the first time touching them will be your last. It is said that the fire from this jutsu will burn for seven days and seven nights.

- Dōjutsu: Hino Kami:
After activating the Mangekyo Sharingan with his eyes closed, Itachi opens his eyes. The enemy is then engulfed by a huge dome of pitch black flames.

-Dōjutsu: Kaen:
After activating the Mangekyo Sharingan with his eyes closed, Itachi opens his eyes. With just a single glance at an approaching enemy, Itachi taints the enemy with a cursed flame that overheats and strikes them down.

-Dōjutsu: Kyokujitsu:
After activating the Mangekyo Sharingan with his eyes closed, Itachi opens his eyes. The first thing he sees will then implode

English Name: Demonic Illusion: Mirror Heaven and Earth Change
Description: Utilizing the copy and counter abilities of the Sharingan, the Uchiha clan member can reverse the Genjutsu casted on them and use it against the original user.


- Tsukiyomi Pupil Technique: Intimidating Lull

Itachi traps the opponent in the realm of Tsukuyomi and proceeds with creating a sphere burning with of the flames of Amaterasu within the illusion. Within a few seconds, the flames of the sphere has grown immensely in both size and power, ripping the very illusion realm to pieces, and as the opponent suffers the same fate, the flames assumes the shape of Itachi's Mangekyo Sharingan pattern.

The technique's name is derived from the creator deity, Izanagi, of Shintoism. When Izanagi returned from the underworld (Yomi, 黄泉) he performed a cleansing rite to rid himself of the impurity that the underworld had fouled him with, and as he cleansed his eyes Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi were born from his left and right eye respectively, fitting with the technique's nature of mixing the two techniques into one.
