Ever had a movie mean something more due to an excellent soundtrack? Talk about it in here!
For example, Blue Spring is a good movie but it is 10x better due to Thee Michelle Gun Elephant's rocking soundtrack. Bright Future is more significant, to me at least, due to the use of The Back Horn's Mirai as a main theme, especially in the last scene. Ichi the Killer's twisted adrenaline rush is accentuated by Karera Musication's psychadelic score.
What movies do you think are better because of their soundtracks?

In the Mood for Love.
Especially the cello in the end theme .. Angkor Wat. Oh, and Yumeji's Theme. Excellent violin!

Trainspotting is a great movie in itself, but the soundtrack made it even more awesome.

I haven't seen either of those movies. crying
I want to see Joze to Tora to Sakana-tachi because Quruli did the soundtrack. It should be out on DVD soon, at least in Japan. I'll probably buy it.
I downloaded the soundtrack though and it's killer.
I liked the use of classical music in Battle Royale. Especially Schubert's Auf Dem Wasser Zu Singen in the scene where SPOILER Chiaki Kuriyama's character is dying and that other kid is talking to her. Damn, I forgot the names.
I honestly don't know why I put that in small text. Everyone's seen it, right?

Magnavox Trainspotting is a great movie in itself, but the soundtrack made it even more awesome. True. But let me note that I got into a car accident because I didn't want to listen to Iggy Pop's Lust for Life. How ironic.

If I am ever given the opportunity to sit in a car with mkat while the radio is on, I will not take it.
I like the Snatch soundtrack. Once again, Guy Ritchie puzzles me.

Oh yeah, didn't SADS do music for City of Lost Souls? And there's also that California Dreaming/Dreams song by The Mamas and the Papas that's played at least 100 times in Chungking Express. stressed

I love the music. 3nodding The guy who composed that waltz, the bald guy with the guitar, is this legendary accoustic guitarist in Korea. I like his stuff, but it's all subversively religious.

If anyone is interested, the media rotation site Happy Fun Time has put up 7 Thee Michelle Gun Elephant songs used in Blue Spring. Download them if you want. I like Akage no Kelly and September Punk Children the best. Just try to ignore the crazy song descriptions.
