Looked around, and realized that OMGWTF, there's no frelling way there's no art topic in this place!
Ya know, the smaller part of the HP fandom is fanart. Fanfics = overappreciated! xd
It's late at night/early in the morning, and I don't want to go to sleep yet, so why not? xd
I haven't got any REAL fanart to share, just art of my own character so far. If I got any, I'll post it.
Post your own fanart. Discuss media and techniques as well (as long as you stick to the HP art..) and even your favorite artists.
Rule, though: When discussing about an artist you like, use links to their site. Hotlinking = bad, and you don't want to do that to an artist you like, do you?

I wish I could draw. I've done a few HP fanarts, but mostly they're not very good and they're all on my mom's computer (she has the scanner) but because of the general suckyness they'll probably never get posted.
On the other hand, I think I finally figured out how to draw people and have it not totally suck. I tend to draw in an anime style (easier, more fun, less concerned with proportion) and I was doodling in my Japanese notebook during my drill class yesterday and I think I have a new drawing method, but it's still in the testing phase. If it's refined enough by the time I get home to my mom's scanner (winter break) I'll maybe start posting stuff.

One of my favorite HP fanartists is Nasubionna. Her style is just amazing and I wish I could draw like her (I wish I caoukd draw at all). She's working on this amazing Tarot Deck which I think you should all check out. Her Site is full of great art, great information and has a lot of fanart links.
Also, you should all check out Tinaling's Site which has great MWPP-era art.

Here's what I think, in case you care. wink
Roses are Red- Good job on clothing but I think Cho herself could be more detailed.
Chibi Hermione- It's really cute but the hood looks too big for her head.
Chibi Ron- Very cute, again. Chibi's are really your strength.
Chibi Harry with Chocolate Frog- eek Wow, that is one big frog.
Bertie Botts Ad- The writing on this is barely legible. If I didn't know what it was supposed to say it would have taken me a minute to decipher.
