I find it annoying when they take a good long manga (12 volumes+) or a complex manga and turn it into a 13 or 26 episode series when it clearly needs at least twice that.
They did great for Gravi, but with shows like Spiral they left out almost the whole plot and it was really frustrating. Then there are series like DBZ that just never ended.... xp
generally though I find 13 episode series aren't as good as 26 episode series, and depending on the length, longer series can be better than 26 episodes.

Standard length is 26 eps, not 226!

Ah I like standard. Gravi should have some more eps, as well as some other BL. I only like one long one which is Inuyasha but it is hard to keep up with. Standard is good because you can follow it easier but it is always sad to finish the last episode. I guess any length is okay though a lot of BL should be longer (Gravi, Loveless, Sukisho.) Manga doesn't matter to me, it can be long or short. It'll just take me a while to collect because I don't have moneys crying
